The problem they have is that while you can waive liability personally, you can’t waive it away for others. The families of those who attend the rally and die from Covid haven’t waived liability. This is such a stupid, stupid move. All to feed his ego.

Hmm…a large crowd of people who no doubt have a disproportionately high ratio of ‘existing conditions’ due to their relatively advanced age, wait in crowded lines for hours (And we all know how cool and dry OK is in the summer), then enter a packed arena where they pump their fists and cheer at the top of their lungs. What could go wrong…?

There are a bunch of people who believe C-19 is over and done with because Trumpski has grown bored with his pandemic. They are wrong, and consequences will follow. The rally events will be a rich target environment for a fast spreading highly infectious virus. It is fascinating that they will line up ten hours to get into the venues.
Even more interestingly, former allies Kim and Murdoch have already announced his impending defeat come November. The fat rats are staking out the best life boats while the MAGA lemmings head for the cliff.

Switzerland’s move to ban gatherings of more than five people seems to have been one of the main reasons it outperformed its neighbors and creams Sweden in cross-country comparisons. In calculating permutations (transmission possibilities in this case), 5! = 120 is about as high as the not-arithmetically-challenged Swiss were willing to go. Trump is ok with 19000! (= very many)

Hmmm. “By clicking here, you are agreeing…”…to winning! Wonder if there’s a sizable percentage who will just click on through that, no idea what they’ve agreed to. Heck, I do it too, but I assume that the iOS update isn’t demanding immunity if it infects me with a disease.

I’m thinking the convention simply won’t happen. Maybe the Tulsa massacre celebration will go forward, but by convention time-- no way. One awesome possibility is that they hold the convention and only 500 people show up—maybe too few for the votes to count!
