Washington uses drop boxes too, and they only do mail in ballots. Same with Oregon. What other states have mail in ballot drop boxes?

Too afraid to have fair election? Just stop your voter suppression tactics…we all know you RethugniCONS cheat to win elections either NC style or Trump/Putin style!
Meanwhile, there is a paper trail of the Russian rubles paid for the Russian bounty of the US soldiers!

Addendum:

Former U.S Navy SEAL Dr. Dan Barkhuff wants to know if Donald Trump is a coward who can’t stand up to Putin or if he’s complicit.

Donnie is afraid the drop boxes will get him drop kicked.

Colorado does. There is one 11 blocks from my house. Before that I drove 10 miles to the county seat to drop it into the curbside ballot box.

I don’t know what Donnie’s so frightened of We STARTED mail-in voting. We’ve used it since 2016. You want to know what a percentage of voters who cast ballots in the 2018 election was? A little under 60 percent. The national average is a little over 50 percent.

You wanna know what the percent of 'suspicious ’ ballots was in 2018?

.027 percent.

We are getting into chances-of-being-hit-by-a-meteor territory here.

It’s funny how Repukes are only challenging vote-by-mail in swing states. Utah --> not a swing state. Utah has had state-wide vote-by-mail in every election for over a decade. Today’s primary is vote-by-mail only - there is no option for in-person voting. We also have drop boxes and impromptu locations where voters can drop their ballots. No GOP challenge to vote-by-mail in Utah.

ETA: Utah’s vote-by-mail started in 2013, so I was wrong about the timing. The point still stands, however. There is no hue and cry about Utah’s voting system and no accusations of voter fraud. I expect that may change if Utah’s Republican hegemony is ever challenged in any meaningful way, but Reubs seem to like things as they are for now.

This will get thrown out. Bet we never hear another word about it.

It might have sown more chaos if they had waited to challenge these boxes in, say, late October. Why now, unless they just want some ammo for the claim that they aren’t secure?

Feels like a weak case. But I guess what Trump’s trying to do here is cause chaos with postal delivery by squeezing the post office and then squeeze the drop boxes to make it impossible to VBM. He keeps saying in his ‘scam’ voice (the same tone he used when he was hawking hydroxychloroquine) that we voted in person in world wars, we can do so again now. We’re voting by mail, yo. We’re voting in person. We’re voting early. We’re voting on e-day. We’re going to bury the GOP this November.

I WANT poll watchers!

I want guys like Hank the Trumphole standing next to the drop box outside the senior center in the cold November wind, glumly watching his hero get the living shit kicked out of him.

Since he has voted by mail for decades himself, this is a ridiculous angle for him. It will get thrown out if it gets any attention at all.

Wait for some GOP nutter to drive his SUV into a box and ‘prove’ it’s not secure. You know it will happen.

Was it really that long ago? Damn. And here I thought Colorado started it.

Here in my PA county, the Voter Services Department in-person, counter service is suspended due to COVID-19. We can’t currently drop off anything in-person to our voter services. A mailbox drop off is a great and accessible way to ensure none of us PA residents are disenfranchised.

"The lawsuit, announced Monday, alleges that by letting voters submit their mail ballots at locations other than at their county board of elections’ offices or through the mail, election officials ran afoul of state law.

Apparently Oregon began it.

I guess it was introduced in 2013 - I remembered it being longer than that. So maybe Colorado was first.

I am constantly amazed at how easy Utah makes it to vote. Registration can be done on-line, party affiliation can be changed on-line (I did that so I could vote in today’s closed Rep primary), you can request to always receive a mail-in ballot for every election, etc. Utah’s politics are really screwed up in a lot of ways, but voting access is one thing that the state has done right.

Every election someone other right inevitably posts videos of legal ballot harvesters in AZ screaming “FRAUD!”
