The Trump campaign deepened the echo chamber of the President’s attacks against Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) on Sunday as they repeated his gripe that the Democratic governor should be more appreciative after the FBI foiled an alleged right-wing conspiracy to kidnap and possibly kill her earlier this month.
Remember folks Brenton Tarrant namechecked Donald Trump for his reason why he needed to shoto up two mosques in NZ, and the Trump machine denied that too.
If Trump knew the FBI planed to stop Witmer’s kidnapping and possible killing he would have called them off.
Which FBI is it that Whitmer should be even more appreciative of? The FBI that Donny Jr. says Trump should break up in next term or the FBI that saves lives and thwarts Russian plots to steal elections?

The FBI is still able to function and prevent crimes like this despite Trump, not because of him. In no way whatsoever does he deserve any credit or gratitude. And in no other administration would anyone be expected to thank the president for feds simply doing their jobs. Outrageous.

This type of gaslighting is beyond deplorable – it’s just plain evil. The shambolic response of these Trumpers and their continued lake of seriousness has killed hundreds of thousands during this pandemic.
Trump’s people think the choice is the economy or the disease. That is why they insist on opening up without regard to Covid. That is the Republican position and has been the Republican position all along. That is stupid.
It is clear that you can’t open until you have Covid under control. That is all that Whitmer has been trying to do. Get Covid under control to allow her state to open.
So I would add stupid to all the other characteristics attributed to Trump and his camp.
