Don’t move to dismiss, move for discovery. And then, move for rule 11 sanctions once you get discovery. Trump and everyone in his campaign should be put under oath.
The media needs to use these as discovery (aka reporting) opportunities.
It’s a pattern of simply lashing out across the board, not just disturbing for the society but for him personally. He’s really, really, really not well.
As the walls of truth and corruption start closing in on Donnie, what is a Trump to do? . . . . file lawsuits!
Just wait for discovery to begin.
The “emperors” clothes are falling away.
An OpEd? Really? I guess Donnie and his lawyer don’t understand the concept of “opinion.”
They’re trying to intimidate the free press so the press will be reluctant to report the facts. I suspect that mostly, however, they’re just pissing off a whole lot of publishers, editors, and reporters.
Lawyers will always take your money. Probably why Americans have so little respect for the profession.
And that’s a good example of an opinion.
Muzzle the media before the real 2020 campaign begins. Drag it out beyond the election. This guy is more dangerous than I ever imagined, and he just keeps ratcheting it up…or down. Take your pick.
Donnie only understands lies, if he is not lying, he is not talking. Opinion is not something his narcaism recognizes.
Dr. Falsifying Data here.
ETA. He’s a piece of work.

How is it that these lawsuits can go forward? These are issues of free speech -op eds- are opinion pieces. Nothing libelous and what a waste of the courts’ time. Trump trying to use the courts to silence the press or turn them al into Fox.
BTW - our daughter, a state employee in Olympia, received notice to work from home until further notice. She is lucky that what she does allows her to do this.
After this Pence conference,if the public isn’t more confused before this presser.they sure are confused now…
Tested 47 people on a ship with 3500 people and 21 of 26 people come back positive WHAT ?
And Mr Vice President (question) If I want to go to my doctor can I get a test today could I ?
Pence- Let me tell you I’m so proud that two of the largest drug manufactures have come together to make these kits available.

Never mind.
My wife is lucky too. She just told her supervisor that she was working at home (she works just outside the UW Campus). Her employer initiated liberal work at home policies.
To bolster its claims of bias against CNN, the suit cited “Project Veritas,” the group founded by smear artist James O’Keefe and which is known for its undercover (and often heavily edited) video stings of journalists and liberal groups.
reminder
There are three legs in how the Trump campaign plans to win in 2020:
This is part three, making sure that the mainstream press is either cowed into being exceedingly careful with reporting about Trump and his campaign or denigrated as trustworthy by attacks on them. The media has been central to digging up the things Trump and the Republicans want to keep hidden, so they have to take the media out before the election if they want to have a chance at fooling Americans on the fence into voting for them.
They are true authoritarians. They literally do not grasp rule of law. They view the law as a cudgel that people with power use to inflict harm on their enemies and nothing else.
The part I find hilarious, however, is that the Trump campaign lacks standing to bring defamation suits based on a claim that Trump was wrongly accused of a crime. That is the surest tell that these idiot suits were ginned up by Trump, Beavis and Butthead because they want to sue but they’re sure as hell not going to spend their own money on the lawyers.
Indeed, given that they’re using campaign dollars to pursue a suit based on allegations personal to Trump, I suspect a case could be made that the suits are a campaign finance violation.
