I don’t think that’s fair. Among other things, it describes putting the transcript in the code-word secure repository, which smells strongly of coverup. It also gives more suggestions of Barr’s actual involvement than just the transcript.

Since it was several WH officials that spoke with the whistle blower, “spy” would “spies” and removing them all would be called a purge.
I wonder if there are any historical examples of purges where treason was found and multiple people executed?
Might be important for understanding consequences and what happens next.
