Trump Calls Whistleblower Source A ‘Spy,’ Implies Punishment

In a closed-to-press event in New York on Thursday morning, President Trump had harsh words for the person who gave the intelligence community whistleblower information about Trump’s July call with the Ukrainian president and Trump implied that he wanted to punish that person.

This man is not well. He should resign effective at noon tomorrow.

Actually, Sir, members of your administration whom you invite to participate are called witnesses not spies. And treason requires giving aid and comfort to an enemy, kind of like Russia, don’t ya think?

He just can’t stop making things worse. I guess the worst part of Trump is that he forces his defenders into humiliating themselves and pretend that they are the most stupid people in earth…

He really does want to shoot someone on Fifth Avenue without any consequences.

“Trump said the person was akin to a ‘spy’ and hearkened back to the ‘old days’ when spies were dealt with more harshly.”

A wise person once said: “Be careful what you wish for…comrade.”

Trump is a walking, talking, and tweeting advertisement supporting the need to immediately remove him from office (and to keep sharp objects away, since he’s insane).

You know what we used to do in the old days, when we had corrupt and incompetent kings?

If you’re not sure, Donald, you can ask Ben Franklin.

Trump should ask Caligula, Nero, and Commodus.

My wife, who did a little whistle blowing at a hospital she used to work at, seems to be more appalled by this treatment of the WB than anything else Trump has done. I reminded her about immigrant children separations and a few other choice items, and she just looked at me and said “If they can go after a whistleblower like this despite all of the laws that are supposed to protect them, then we cannot have a functioning government.”

I married a very smart person.

Is no one brave enough to tell him to put a sock in it so he doesn’t further incriminate himself? For G-d’s sake…

That train has sailed.

Well, things seem to be moving along nicely. Waiting for the reports by Friday afternoon that the president was found in the oval office bathroom smearing his dung on the wall and repeating over and over “No collusion!”.

Brave people tend to be sane. No one sane will work for him, only the desperate.

There’s more than one person who gave info to the whistle-blower, dumbass.

You’d better have a big firing squad for what you’re suggesting.

And you’d better be careful as to who they have their guns pointed at (you might consider being far away).
