Trump Buries Head In Sand, Again Blames… Tests For Showing Rise In COVID Cases | Talking Points Memo

“If we didn’t test so much and so successfully, we would have very few cases,” sayeth Trump.

But Donnie, without the tests there might be fewer “cases” as you call them, but there will be just as many deaths. In fact, probably there would be even more deaths.

And as with all the current deaths, they will be on your head, for this is indeed, the Trump Plague.

Whaaaaattt??? How much more lame-brained will he prove himself to be before it’s all over?

Time to stop testing all those people who come near Trump every time they’re going to be near him… One of them might test positive (like Jr.'s girlfriend). Better to stop testing so there are no cases, no carriers, no concerns.

So if he keeps spouting the same absurd bullshit over and over, does that make him stable?

That was a rhetorical question, right?

We all expect great things from Fat Nixon as he continues his plummet into madness.

He’s trying to leave Joe as big a mess and as empty a cupboard as he can.

Because unexplained deaths are so much easier to explain…

“If we didn’t test so much and so successfully, we would have very few cases.”

This is actually quite brilliant.

Just think how many problems we could solve by this logic…

  • Don’t count crime: No crime!

  • Don’t count unemployment: No unemployment!

  • Don’t count undocumented migrants: No undocumented migrants!

The man is a genius!!!

If we can survive Trump, this is a Political Science Professor’s thesis, dissertation, monograph, text and book adoption for a state university system. The overarching theme:

“The power of blind obedience to an ideology in the face of reality”.

The GOP Congress appear to be prepared to destroy their country
The GOP voters appear to be further right than the politicians
The latter are leading the former

I think you are giving more credit than is due. I really don’t think that after all this time, after all the meetings,

he.just.doesn’t.get.it.

He doesn’t understand how it spreads, he doesn’t understand why it spreads, and he only cares about the stock market. It’s like he thinks that people are purposely contracting the disease and dying just to spite him.
One of the other things I can’t comprehend is why there is anyone still in the WH working for him?

It couldn’t be any weirder if he had said 2+2=5, and the press reported that as uncritically.

This film made when I was a toddler totally stole “Madness!” from me.
