When the Senate gave him a mulligan a couple of months ago, that basically unchained the monster. And I refuse to believe they didn’t know what the consequences would be. I’m about to give up on normal political processes. Even if we were to successfully vote Trump out of office, these latter day Jefferson Davises and their wealthy backers would still be working their mischief.
Yeah, he’s not even trying to hide it any more. Thanks, #moscowmitch, this is just the type of leadership the country needs right now.
Who is this/where is this from?
This is the only silver lining in WI (unless voters actually are so POed they stick it to the Trump endorsed Supreme Court Judge who is the reason why the republicans re trying to ram through a voter suppression election).
Bernie is not going to do well, and this is the ONLY major state he won that still have to vote in a primary. He is going to get crushed, and putting it off would have hurt Joe by dragging it out.
If Bernie does not move after getting crushed by the vallient voters of WI, Joe can just declare himself the presumptive nominee and go about his business (announcing a VP pick ASAP, as well as starting to announce who would be in his cabinet, “ready to do the business of cleaning up after Trump’s disaster, starting on day one”)
Another example of that thing called “winning” that we are all fucking tired of.
Bion: Ancient Roman poet. That’s the kind of trivia one learns in 2 yrs of Latin.
Yep, keep hangin’ with us nerds. He is said to be a Greek, but lived in Sicily.
You identify a problem and then suggest that Sanders is part of it – while also saying that “democrats must stand up” … but then you forget to name you-know-who or ask where he is, or what he’s doing.
Maybe you should ask Sanders to pay rent for that space he’s taking up in your head?
I struggled to understand this whole line of attack, Trump, and TPM. I think the “Inside the Beltway” distinction being made is that she was career civil service, not presidential appointee. So, her eight years in the Obama administration didn’t really count to make her an Obama holdover since she wasn’t an Obama anything.
This guy was onto them and Trump needed a lackey to take over to help with the cover up.
He needs to testify before Congress, stat.
I’m Sick
Good timing historically, Easter and all
Dear Senate Republicans , Thanks for allowing this rape of the relief funds
Your thirty pieces of silver will be paid shortly
“Commander-in-Thief”
Thanks. My Google-wannabe search engine didn’t turn it up (but Google itself did).
US already up 19,100 cases today and over 1200 fatalities (it’s still the morning on the west coast). Current total is 386k cases (391 if you add the VA, USS Theodore Roosevelt and DoD). 12,242 fatalities. We hit 10k just 24 hours ago.
Well Trump thinks anyone that doesn’t do everything he asks is against him personally and if they worked under Obama in any remote way that’s just more against them, regardless of anything else. He’s paranoid, which is no big surprise.
We need the Professor from Money Heist in charge of the Democratic Party. Trump and the GOP are furthering their interests–rigging elections, stealing from the pandemic stimulus, purging the administration, avoiding all oversight–while the Democrats are doing everything they can to pass legislation that will save the GOP from itself. We have to come up with plans that help Democrats too.
I hear a lot of the secret service agents worked for Obama as well, maybe he should fire all of them.
Well, shit. We’re still lagging Spain, should take them tomorrow, and Italy, that’ll take at least a few more days.
Trump can do better than that, why we’re in third place behind two shithole countries is ridiculous. USA Number 1!
The underpinnings of our democracy and government are being shorn off. Trump understands for him to continue to commit crimes and corrupt acts, that there can be no oversight.
He’s neutralized the supposedly independent DoJ through Bill Barr, Congressional oversight through the failure of the courts to properly interpret the Constitution, and now he’s shredding any avenues of oversight within the Executive Branch without fear of consequences because of an equally corrupt Republican Senate and SCOTUS.
It goes without saying McConnell is despicable, but he makes no pretenses about it. The person I despise even more, at least, at the moment, is someone equally radical, though he pretends to be just a thoughtful moderate. And that person is John Roberts. His decision yesterday regarding the Wisconsin election was shameful and very damaging to our democracy.
This Supreme Court is corrupt, and Democrats should use all means necessary to restore balance. That is, if they’re even allowed to compete on a level playing field.
I am really, really trying not to hate!
Give in. You’ll feel much better.
