President Donald Trump didn’t express much love for former National Security Adviser John Bolton on Wednesday.
The tagline for Alien v. Predator comes to mind: “Whoever Wins, We Lose.”
Yes, the dearth of diplomacy chops in this admin is Bolton’s fault. For sure.
Just another incoherent ramble through Trump’s deranged mind. Nothing new hear
“I hope we’ve left in good stead, but…"
I’m at work and can’t listen to the audio, but did Trump really use the word “stead”?
I’m just having a really hard time believing that he has ever used that word.
He chose Bolton because he was a Fox commentator. Trump has no foreign policy. It is all Ad Hoc Unlike Trump, Bolton had a real policy agenda. Not a particularly good policy agenda but he did manage to scuttle the Taliban’s sleep over at Camp David. It all comes down to those who do not show loyalty/deference to Trump at all costs are twitter fired.
He has the best words.
He’d tell you he’s erudite, but modesty dictates he doesn’t get all showy about it.
Very big mistakes? Didn’t get along with people in the administration? Is this fat slob Donnie looking in the mirror? Shameless fool!!
Someone made Baby repeat a few lines over and over this morning: “The Libya Model”, “Left in good stead”. Poor baby gonna be the grumpies!
Piss Ants fighting.
“Nuclear talks with North Korea stalled in April 2018 when Bolton raised the possibility of deploying the Libya model in the negotiations.”
To which side?
Poor Bolton doesn’t have a platform to attack Trump like he did Obama, Fox News is too busy kicking him while he is down. Not that chickenhawk, warmongering, SOB deserves any better. If it was up to me he would be in a cold cell in The Hague.
John Barron chimes in: “He refused to follow my lead in fellating Kim Jong Un, Vladimir Putin, and other monstrous dictators I admire, and so I had to let him go.”
“The President also claimed that Bolton “wasn’t getting along with people in the administration that I consider very important.””
Take note future administration nominees.
But John Bolton’s mustache lives on to fight another day.
And he used the word incorrectly. What a surprise.
So guess Bolton will take this on his quivering chin - smacked down - humiliated - a puddle of pee forming in the floor at his feet … and too chastened to even whimper out a response …
???
Bolton was appointed in March, 2018. Sanctions were imposed on Iran in Nov, 2018.
Oil is sliding today because Trump is talking of easing oil sanctions on Iran.
Was Bolton behind the sanctions or against removing them? Any ideas?
Bolton is warning POTUS. This could get nasty.
For that to happen Bolton will have to violate his NDA.
