Trump Blames Woodward — A Journalist — For Not Being Presidential Enough To Alert Authorities On COVID

Actually sir, that’s good-ly written. Let’s not descend to his level of coarse grammar.

Trump lied to the country. Trump is caught in a lie and he lies some more, denigrates the author of the book and insults reporters for asking the obvious question. Why do you lie Mr. President?

That’s also why Donnie only “answered” three questions before he stormed out in a poorly-concealed huff.

Exactly my first thought–hey, asshole, YOU ARE The Authority!

President* is advised by IC that NK nukes are heading toward NYC, SF and LA. Goes on national television and says, “You may see aerial fireworks. Nothing to worry about. They’re just doing a flyover, and will go away.” Followed by, “Isn’t the stock market doing great?”

I knew that. I will drink your aliquot share at Biden’s inauguration.

trump claims he heard Woodward’s name a lot but knew nothing about what he did as a reporter. Which is to say he never heard of the Watergate scandal that ended Nixon’s presidency. The man just cannot lie convincingly considering how much he consumes tv, newspapers and other media. And it must be an old habit of his to watch tv news.

“I wonder whether or not somebody like that can write good,” Trump said.
Geez, he gave it away! You write “good” like this: “g-o-o-d”.
Or did he mean “well”?

Well, he was kissing Pence ass like a madman at his presser today. It was a tell. He wants to make sure the pardon is coming.

Gear? Whatever they’re carrying for travel, they’ve also all got huge bags of canned soup.
A blind man couldn’t miss that in a dark alley.

Hey, you know your stuff. You must be a well writer yourself.

One thing you notice is that on this they have bankable proof he was lying.

My opinion is that Trump lied on the Woodward tapes. He got excited because someone was giving him attention, and, as usual, ran off at the mouth with his conversational diarrhea, and pretended to be all-knowing and all-wise.

He didn’t know how bad the cv would be. He was told, but he thought ignoring it would make it go away. Pretending otherwise was a spur-of-the-moment reflex to make up for deliberately downplaying it. He was trying to put a spin on his previous negligence to appear not quite so negligent. It was all a plan, you see? He has always been wise and in control.

In the end, it doesn’t matter whether he lied months ago, or he lied on the tapes, he tells so many lies, he can’t keep up with them. Just having the time to give eighteen interviews to one reporter shows he doesn’t give a damn about anything or anyone other than himself.

It’s just as possible he lied months ago, and he lied to Woodward. He wouldn’t know how to tell the difference himself.

Dammit! Where’s George Carlin when we desperately need him!

It’s probably something the Generals cooked up just special for Donnie, to make him feel gooder.

The whole Covid thing is the fault of Washington. The Washington Nationals that is. They go and win a World Series, the first for the city since 1924, and a couple of months later disaster strikes.

Too all them mutha-ruckers with advanced degrees and great jobs and otherwise sane people… NOT the Trump perpetual-rally-going koolaid drinkers; the ones who knew better but hedged their bets (Votes) on the savvy businessman who would SURROUND himself with the best people…
Wonder how they are feeling now?
