Trump Begs Supreme Court To Do His Bidding Again–In Hush Money Case

That is your personal wish—not established DoJ policy.

Ongoing until immediately stopped by the incoming DoJ new regime, of course. But probity and norms…

Of course they did. The Supremes are in deep shit now and it is of their own making. He doesn’t like a ruling, god help them.

Thinking more along the lines of universal healthcare. Some of our 'Murican cousins might like that too. We certainly aren’t going to give it up.

I suppose he could, if he wanted to get tied up for the next year in expensive lawsuits over whether the SCOTUS immunity decision applied to that specific executive action or not. The immunity decision isn’t all-inclusive and automatic. It can be challenged, and it would be in this case.

No reason to go there if Garland will be releasing it anyway. If it’s stalled by SCOTUS until after inauguration day he might do it.

It’s very fickle. Here today, Gone tonight.

I’m thinking the Bragg response has to do with his sentencing on Friday NOT the release of the Jan 6 Smith report. We will see that and hopefully sooner than later

Right, I got those confused. Too much happening this week for a first cup of coffee comment.

And 'we" would pay for the cost of the invasion and occupation with more tax cuts for billionaires! So they would have more money to invest in Greenland… Trump Greenland Towers, Trump Greenland Golf…

Would that mean that we get some decent poutine and smoked meat sandwiches?

Antarctica is up for grabs and they don’t have a military!

If I remember correctly, she dismissed the case …
And DOJ should just dismiss (but maybe whichever way means they can refile later, if we ever become a democracy again) charges against the peons, so there would be no prejuidicial info to active cases, and the world gets to see just how fucking corrupt we are, so they know to steer clear.

There won’t be any new Canadian senators for the same reason that there won’t be any senators from Puerto Rico or DC.

Canada is “only real estate” to Trump, and not to anyone else. He’s probably fantasizing about some of the world’s tallest towers and longest golf courses, among other things. No need for sand traps and roughs; he’ll just put some bears near the greens.

Only against Trump.

The other two defendants are still being charged.

I can understand no senators from Quebec, but for the rest of the provinces they will need to come with a better excuse.

…it’s a batsh-t crazy, hairbrained nothingburder designed to distract our pathetically-predictable, never-fail-to-disappoint press corpse (sic) like a hyperactive cat chasing a laser pointer.

Again.

I was looking at Hulu, which we just started up with this month. C-SPAN isn’t anywhere on there. A little research shows that they aren’t on any streaming service, so I will be watching the DC funeral tomorrow on my laptop.

Unfortunately, that is the future. It’s just a matter of time before fire and other climate related disasters reach those locations that were once believed to be safe. No location is immune from climate change.

I could outline other pending disasters but we’ve enough bad news already.
