Trump Bearhugs Rudy, But Suggests Ukraine Scheme Was Giuliani’s Idea

As Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani comes under increased legal scrutiny by federal prosecutors, as well Congress, for his shadow campaign in Ukraine, President Trump embraced his lawyer on Wednesday. The President praised Giuliani as the “best mayor in the history of New York” and a “great prosecutor.”

The width of the tire tracks on Rudy’s posterior are amazing.

When asked if Giuliani operated as a foreign agent, Trump demurred.

“I don’t know what he did. You have to ask Rudy those questions. Don’t ask me."

The bus could not be speeding more quickly toward Rudy if Keanu Reeves, himself, were at the wheel.

This line of argument kills me. “Hates corruption,” “was seeking out corruption” etc. If you picture a person generally fighting corruption in another country, does it look anything at all like what Trump and Giuliani did? Not in the least, not even close. Trump might as well say Rudy was fighting malaria.

Just his usual projection, deflection. He is the one who corrupted the elections… so he blames others.

Note to TPM: Trump is an amoral, lying, self-serving, bullshitting ignoramus. You know this. Cover him as such.

Going on Hannity and bragging about it is fine, but he still has to respond to the subpoenas.

Yes, yes there was. But not in the way your demented mind thinks.

The “devil made me do it” excuse ain’t gonna wash this time. He is the POTUS and the buck stops with him. No one, not even the devil, can make him do anything, because he is no mere mortal; he has absolute power and immunity.

In just 2 minutes trump repeated the term “corruption” in a number of ways 8 times…and then claiming that rudi was acting in the best interest of the US…and the corruption was being done at the hands of the party that lost the election…

“I don’t know what he did. You have to ask Rudy those questions. Don’t ask me. Rudy was one of many people that was incensed at the corruption that took place during that election. Pure corruption,”

Sigh

“previously on ‘The Donald Trump Show’.”

You’ll have to ask Rudy Giuliani,” Trump said on the White House lawn on Thursday, responding to a question from a reporter about the two men who were arrested in a campaign finance scheme.

When Trump’s Stormy Daniels scandal broke in early 2018, the president responded to questions about his alleged affair with the adult film star whose real name is Stephanie Clifford by saying, “You’ll have to ask Michael Cohen.

Trump’s bus has extra-wide tires to evenly distribute his weight among as many as five underbussed cronies simultaneously.

They hate corruption that doesn’t benefit them, that’s why Rudy was trying to get the corrupt prosecutor in the Ukraine reinstated.

From under the bus, we hear faint voice. Something about calling 911?

Ah…no…It’s “But…but…but…9-11!!”

Rudy prosecuted so much corruption, lived and breathed such corruption, dreamed about it, obsessed about it, that gradually he became … what’s the word I’m looking for?

"There was tremendous corruption, I think even you would admit that,”

Yes, we would. We have a near-500 page report detailing it.

I used to wonder what the phrase ‘what goes around, comes around’ meant. I think Agent Orange’s throwing Rudy under the bus (i.e. what goes around), will free Rudy to throw Agent Orange under the bus (i.e. what’s coming around the bend)
