As part of his attacks against voting by mail, President Donald Trump dismissed on Tuesday night the notion that mail-in ballots protect voters from COVID-19, claiming without evidence that it’ll be “very safe” to show up at the polling sites in person on November 3.
Trump told the hosts of “Fox and Friends” that Americans will “do whatever they have to do” to vote in person because “we have people that really want to get out and vote.”
If a pundit this fall intones “It could go either way.” do some E.S.L. (Existential-Danger as a Second Language) and translate:
Pundit: (1) “Thanks to Moscow McConnell, we are left with this fail-safe exercise we are forced to treat as a normal election, knowing that Trump, Team Trump, the Foreign interfere people and the GOP will do everything, including committing felonies, to elect Donald Trump.”
(2) “Trump, having been identified as an existential threat to this planet, is as dangerous as an asteroid strike…so: the asteroid can strike or not…It could Go Either Way”
Yeah well Donnie ALSO said when summer got here the virus would be GONE…you know, hot weather. Trump has nothing. He is just a shill. A carnival barker.
