Trump Ballroom Costs Balloon and Taxpayers Foot Half the Bill

Because the other option was Trump. But I still haven’t forgiven him for attacking the credibility of Anita Hill in order to confirm hugely damaging abomination trhat is Clarence Thomas.

Oh, please.

He was running against this.

And it’s so notable that the media who was so loud about Biden doing the exact same thing in his Europe trip prior was disqualifying, yet they’re so silent now.

Wasn’t like he was running against a spring chicken.

And, crucially, nobody of any significance had even tried to run.

Blame someone? Blame nasty Nancy and the back-stabbing DNC and Kamala and the fucking media.

Biden was nominated TWICE, and I bet you voted for him in the primary as well as when he ran for President the first time.

What you absolutely refuse to do, and apparently can’t do, is look at the sorry state of the legal profession and the blatant incompetence of the DoJ and the Supreme Court and of course, Merrick the Meek Garland who couldn’t find his ass with both hands and a mirror.

Trump should have been arrested as soon as he left office, and you’re still trying to defend that shit? The fact that Biden had to debate a 34x Convicted Felon and rapist is a stain on our legal system that will live forever.

If you’re trying to debate a moron who lies with every breath you’d look like a stooge too.

Find another hobby because you suck at politics.

Oh, NOMINATED is the standard. Not beating trump’s dumb ass.

No shit?

I wish to inform you that you should present yourself to an emergency roon for being kicked in the head by a mule.

Go Find Yourself.

1000x yes…

No, he was running against the comparison his own vital self we remembered, and what we all also know from our life experience about how once noticeable decline starts, it surely ain’t 4 years of crisp clarity left.

And the supposed backstabbing was way after his decision to make a 6 year bet on a 80 year old frame. All like we didnt just watch DiFi…

And he won the first time. And would’ve if the entire Democratic Party, helped by the FP idiots who thought he wasn’t sufficiently on their side (and boy did they buy a president who did so much better for their cause ) hadn’t shivved him.

Need some introspective. The Dems committed political suicide in ‘24 by ignoring the candidate everyone wanted and installing a Potemkin candidate selected by the Elites.

After Nancy stabbed him, she went for re-election.

And now we have a president who doesn’t know where he is, shits himself in public, has who knows what medical conditions which require 22 Specialists to examine him in “routine” 6-month “annual” exams, brags about how many cognitive tests he’s passed…

Great Choice, America.

And a special Thx to Boomers, congrats, regardless of party y’all fucked the entire planet for your selfishness. Worst generation in history.

He won one primary, second nomination was a incumbent courtesy

And, as AG, Merrick Garland served at the plausure of the President. Moreover, Garland was hired to slow walk anything with Trump. (As to not distract his agenda)

You are mad at the wrong person. Buck stops with the president.

While i know the Garland bashing is tiresome, let’s play nice

That was only one place where I went “whaa???” when reading this piece. Many hours later now and exhausted, I can’t remember the others, including another big one. I think it was the “Bidenomics” part of the op-ed. Anyway, the piece ignored the strong economy Biden (and Powell, without colluding) were in the process of laying the foundation for. As for inflation, the piece doesn’t blame Biden for it but doesn’t bother to point out that COVID was responsible and that it was happening worldwide, with the U.S. suffering least despite having been led worst through COVID under Trump.

Agreement, or parsing where I agreed and disagreed, wasn’t my reason for sharing. I found the piece revealing about some legitimate criticisms of Biden’s handling of things and his (and Jill’s) attempts at defense. Biden accomplished a lot. He’s a decent man and was a decent president facing an unprecedented situation (e.g., the ex-prez he’d defeated holding court at Mar-a-Lago and jabbering away on social media) who should have bowed out from running again, setting up Dems for a lively primary. You read about his life and you realize he’s kind of a lesser narcissist than Trump, with a worshipful wife who worships differently from Melania. (Spoiler: Jill is sincere in her worship, but I have no interest in reading about her worship.) So many thoughts in my mind. I’ve been digging up sod all day and my son-in-law is in a lot of mysterious pain (Lyme?).

I think I called the piece “interesting.”

Workers in DC dumped mass quantity of hydrogen peroxide into the reflecting pool to kill algae. I hope they haven’t so poisoned the water that other critters die too.

(This is the day that set the timeline in motion.)

This was a near 6 year bet, that blew up in our faces a mere 14 months later, 26-Jun-2024, when the awful debaye occurred.

Just wondering if carp and plecostomus would control algae in the reflecting pool.

That’s kinda their approach to the U.S. Constitution and the whole body of the United States Code. And the Code of Federal Regulations, thrown in to boot, isn’t it?

It sounds pretty cool, but I’m not sure a reflecting pool is meant as habitat for a wriggling, teeming mass of ravenous plecostomuses.
