Trump-Backed Election Denier Mike Lindell Loses Minnesota GOP Gubernatorial Primary

Originally published at: Trump-Backed Election Denier Mike Lindell Loses Minnesota GOP Gubernatorial Primary - TPM – Talking Points Memo

Pillow magnate and election denier Mike Lindell lost a high-stakes Minnesota GOP gubernatorial primary on Tuesday, despite receiving an endorsement from President Donald Trump last month. He also lost the Minnesota Republican Party’s endorsement in the race in June to former health care executive and army veteran, Kendall Qualls. Despite the state Republican Party’s backing…

I pray this is the end of Mike Lindell. He has had his 15 minutes of fame. At this point he is a pale parody of himself.

Has anybody here seen Song Sung Blue? Jim Belushi was born to play Mike Lindell in any, preferably all, of the movies and series that the Trump era will spawn.

The final straw breaks the camel’s back. One person, usually referred to as “that guy” sets a chain of events in motion. For example, James McCord is often seen as the that guy in the Watergate Breakin, even if bigger heads eventually rolled. It seems like a certain Mike Obadal, Army Under Secretary, has been caught with this hand in the cookie jar. The everybody-does-it defense may not wash in this case. Obadal may just be that guy.

Meanwhile, several top Trump administration officials have made notable personal financial trades or deals during recent months.

They include FBI Director Kash Patel, Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee, Ambassador to Italy Tilman Fertitta, Office of Personnel Management Director Scott Kupor, Federal Highway Administration Administrator Sean McMaster, U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro, Small Business Administration Administrator Kelly Loeffler, former U.S. Agency for Global Media leader Kari Lake, Department of Homeland Security Under Secretary Pedro Allende, Environmental Protection Agency Assistant Administrator Douglas Troutman and former Department of Health and Human Services general counsel Mike Stuart.

Just watched a clip. You’re right — would be uncanny.

If Lindell was giving away pillows as an inducement to vote for him, that’s not bribery, it’s a threat

Mike Lindell, CEO of “CrackHeads ‘R’ Us”

As a Minnesotan, I sleep comfortably knowing Mike Lindell won’t be governor (and because I don’t use his cheap torn-foam pillows).

Fortunately Minnesota uses paper ballots scanned by computer at the polling site. Any challenges by Lindell can quickly be debunked without getting into programming issues.

Francesca Hong loses a primary to David Crowley by less than one percentage point and concedes.

Lindell gets his ass handed to him and he cries “foul.”

And Republicans call themselves Americans and patriots.

MyPillow founder Mike Lindell is refusing to concede in Minnesota’s Republican gubernatorial primary, alleging irregularities in the vote totals.

At least he is consistent; consistently a delusional asshat that is.

Yep, and in Democratic circles, he would be called out and demanded that he concede.

I’m not following the story much, so I’m willing to be wrong, but how many Republicans are demanding he withdraw?

I’m betting none right now.

If the MSM focuses attention to this situation, you’ll see a change.

In all fairness to Lindell, his pallor is from the amphetamine binges and epinephrine hits.
