But the custodian knows that their ass is the one on the line, and generally oversees the gnomes they’ve charged with bringing the info to them – including establishing some vetting of those gnomes before they’re trusted. Seems to me that youth or inexperience shouldn’t be an excuse for something this important.

If she was trying to do Trump a favor… it wasn’t really what one would call an unalloyed success.
An argument could be made for utter fscking disaster.
But, she’s a Senate approved, lifetime appointed, Federal District Judge; I would not presume to even attempt to divine her motivations.

I thought on first reading her submittted statement that it was obvious legal-speak for weasling. But she’s even dumber than she looks if she thought that clever sentence crafting was going to save her sorry ass – TFG is notorious for setting up minions to take the rap for him. She’s got nothin’.

Hmmmm, this causes me to wonder whether she could get charged for claiming to be custodian of records if she denies ever looking at the records to see if they were marked as classified. A bit like me claiming my job is “astronaut” but I’ve never actually flown into space or gone through any training for it.
Anyway, Ms. Boob should get a lawyer ASAP. She’s in real criminal jeopardy, and the first person to flip gets the most favorable deal.

So as a alleged reporter working the White House best, she also worked on the side for the very people she was supposedly reporting on. . And in the absolute zero spaces of her soul she saw nothing vaguely wrong with that, didn’t even try to hide it.
