Along with the tweet, Trump shared a post from far-right opinion website The Gateway Pundit which cited an Associated Press report that suggests the death toll due to COVID-19 in New York nursing homes was likely much higher than the 6,600 originally reported.

Cuomo was the first to face the beast, and New York and New Jersey faced it alone with Trump clearly not helping. Cuomo had to suck up to Trump to get the PPE and ventilators they needed in the early days. Even the governor admits they made mistakes, but the biggest mistakes were made in the administration and the red states that followed New York. They didn’t learn a damn thing from Cuomo’s experience. Still haven’t.
Donald Trump is becoming the classic “One Trick Pony”.
That is he has one response to everything, “I am great and it is you who are guilty of everything crime or incompetence I have done”.
It is not that anyone actually believes Trump’s only trick but that they can say they believe as an excuse to support White Nationalism, the only reason left to support Trump.
