President Donald Trump lashed out at Dr. Deborah Birx, a top official on the White House Coronavirus Task Force, on Monday after she expressed a grim outlook on the virus still rocking the country.

Really, Dr. Birx, anyone paying attention could see this coming from a hundred miles away. Donnie doesnât like his enablers to say anything that could conceivably be considered criticism or contrary to his fantasies.

At this point, Trump can attack all he wants. All I hear is âArgle Bargle Lies Nonesense.â After Nevada already shifted into high gear sending out mail-in ballots, itâs only a matter of time before other states follow suit. Trump is a dead man walking.
Journalists have available to them facts that can lay out for the American people just how âsuccessfulâ this virus is being handled. Why the hell they donât utilize them is maddening.
For starters, the United States has about 4.25% of the worldâs population. Using Johns-Hopkins data, we have 25.8% of confirmed COVID-19 cases, and our fatalities from the disease represent 22.4% of the world total.
I rarely, if ever, see it laid out so plainly by the media.
Birx has finally begun to realize that she canât continue to kiss Trumpâs ass if she wants to keep her reputation intact. Unfortunately for her, itâs too late. Sheâs already destroyed her reputation and I doubt she could do much to rehabilitate it at this point. Sheâll be lucky if sheâs only quickly forgotten after being allowed to retire quietly next year.

Birx got out her scientific lane a few weeks ago and supported some of Trumpâs nonsense. I lost faith in her at that point and went full Fauci.
I think she may have realized she has damaged her credibility and is trying to steer back to the scientific truth.
The problem for us is she helped distort the truth when we needed facts the most. The problem for her is she now has to take Trumpâs heat.
But, unless Trump is completely mentally gone, he canât dismiss her comments now.
We are fucked, the economy is fucked, and all the blather coming out of Trumpâs mouth isnât going to change the outcomes.
We have been on our own since February and itâs clear to Trump that he is in the tank.
The question now is when will the Râs rise up and take that âBarry Goldwaterâ walk to the Whitehouse?

Not sure why she has suddenly become enlightened, but maybe some cultists will listen to her and she will do some good. But itâs too little too late if she expects to salvage her reputation.

The amazing thing is that if Trump had simply turned everything over to Birx and Fauci and just spent the last 6 months golfing and saying nothing heâd be well on his way to re-election. But he needs the attention too much to do that.
