Former Trump defense attorney Lindsey Halligan was reportedly sworn in as interim U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia Monday after the president forced out her predecessor for failing to turn up wrongdoing with which to charge New York Attorney General Leticia James (D) and other public figures he considers his enemies. The donors are talking to the cowardly Schumer and Jeffries, urging them to fight against the future of the party. And, those two are listening, aren’t they?

We can only hope, but I’d kinda like to know what the donors are really telling S&J before I get too comfortable.

Who in convicted felon’s immediate family, or dead brain worm’s family, or anyone close to convicted felon has an autistic person that warrants such a concern about what causes autism? Another case of throw it against the wall and see if it sticks?

A disclaimer: I have taught several autistic students and my step son is autistic.

It is said that “journalism is the first draft of history,” but I am going to speculate that Donald Trump and his administration will be remembered as one of the most corrupt in the history of this nation. Much has been revealed, and much more will be revealed, and the illegalities, moral and ethical failings are massive. It is a sad time for our country, and many are suffering because of the intentional cruelty and unlawfulness.

Halligan: She may be just an insurance lawyer with zero prosecutorial experience, but she’s got “the look,” which is much more of a job qualification in the maladministration.

What could possibly go wrong?

If Halligan was brought on to bring Donnie’s retribution to fruition, as @emptywheel pointed out in the last few days, she’s working against an impending deadline for Jim Comey:

  • False statements to Congress (2020): Any potential charges for false statements Comey may have made to Congress in September 2020 would have reached the five-year statute of limitations by the end of September 2025. (Google summary for the prompt jim comey statute of limitations)

Schumer and Jeffries have been sucking at the corporate tit. They need to go.

I have to agree with your assessment. And the beauty of why he’ll be remembered as the most corrupt is because of video showing him to be corrupt, and the biggest kicker is his Tweeting and Truthing his corruption.

Lindsay Halligan is less qualified and loyal than Laura Loomer.

Halligan has no prosecutorial experience. Most recently, she worked in the White House staff secretary’s office

And looked good doing it. That’s all that matters.

Watch Argentina. In 1913 it was still among the ten richest countries in the world on a per capita basis. How the country fell so far is still debated, but it does have the most psychotherapists per capita. It has recently learned that you can’t fix government with a chain-saw.

I think we’ll see how satisfactory it is when Halligan can’t secure convictions against the targets of Donnie’s retribution campaign who’re tried in EDVa.

Where is the cross to fill in the cleavage? It’s the missing piece to complete her uniform as a piece of Christianist eye candy for Grandpa as he plans more destruction of the law and perfects the redecoration in his pretend office at the big white memory care unit.

Unnecessary. They’ve convinced themselves that every autistic person is a drain on society: a helpless heap of humanoid protoplasm requiring 24x7 care and coddling.

Note that they’re totally happy with the similar non-viable fetuses, not to mention brain dead persons. So I have no idea why they make such a hard distinction.

Even more will need to be written about what social trends, changes in the electorate, available “journalism”, and campaigning (to name but a few) caused Trump to be elected TWICE.

And why it took decades to deal with the damage done and its worldwide fallout. We’ve got our work cut out for us, fellow lefties.

The same donors that keep telling them to go easy on Trump. That is why the democratic party is so unpopular, because most of them keep sucking up to the billionaires, who are now taking their money to directly to Trump and getting whatever they want. Very few democrats are taking a stand for democracy, rule of law or the people in the street.

And trust me, they need all those shrinks, although don’t seem to do them any good.

Or get indictments.

I got this in the wrong place. I meant to comment on bcgister’s post on getting convictions.
