We already know that three other Red States are looking to re-district, along with California for the Dems.
Are any other States looking to join the Dem fray? My State (Connecticut) is all pretty much blue already, so I don’t think we have much to offer here.
In the meantime, I’ll wait for SCOTUS to decide that California’s maps are illegal while signing off on any Red State maps.

So, how can stealing an election in bad faith and making yourself perpetual ruler make things better for the average citizen? I am just not seeing it. All this work and skullduggery as they say, but it just doesn’t have the feels.

As if we needed more evidence that President Trump’s takeover of D.C. was never about crime and always about made-for-TV photo ops, it appears the president will be joining law enforcement for a ridealong this evening.

I’ve been rereading American Kompromat (Craig Unger). And what you’re saying here about mobsters reminds me of what I just read about KGB officers assessing Donny as a potentially manipulable mark for various uses … .Especially the last thing on the list.
I like the way the ex-KGB guy puts this: “Trump was a dream for KGB officers looking to develop an asset,” Shvets told me. “Everybody has weaknesses. But with Trump it wasn’t just weakness. Everything was excessive. His vanity, excessive. Narcissism, excessive. Greed, excessive. Ignorance, excessive.”

Yes. The guy is like an espionage training manual example that came to life.
And I’m sure that whatever officers at the SVR are currently assigned to handling him spend half their time blessing and the other half cursing their luck. Because on the one hand, what an asset, what an opportunity, what a sheer gift from heaven. Careers are being made here.
And on the other hand, they have to deal with him. (Shudder)

The 6 Operatives Justices already ruled that gerrymandering is legal for partisan reasons:
Gerrymanderers only have to proclaim an unfair map partisan (yay!), not racial (boo!). If a gerrymander benefits white (Republican) voters, that’s illegal . . . but if the same map can be said to merely benefit (white) Republicans, then federal courts cannot touch it.
Anybody want to bet that all Blue State gerrymanders willl be declared racial? Why? Because they hurt White Republican voters.

Now, now. Don’t give up before you start. Make the Corrupt Six go on record with their corrupt inconsistency. And then California and any others affected can ignore them. Why not? Trump does it. “Make me” is one of his mottos.

I’d love to see the California polling on the matter. I don’t think liberals have the guts to fight the same fight. I certainly hope I’m wrong.
