Trump-Appointed Leader Of Worker Protection Agency Directs Focus On DEI, 'Binary Reality of Sex'

Well said re: control. Same goes with their inability to tolerate sources of moral authority outside exactly what they grew up with. They’re right, and it’s a zero-sum game they want badly to enforce. Everything is binary.

That looks like a knit jacket to me. Depending on the quality of the yarn and the tightness of the stitches, it could be either stiff or soft. I’m going with soft.

Actually, it looks like a jacket that you’d better not eat anything drippy while wearing because you know the drip will miss the black top and plop right on that creamy knit. An unfortunate plop of a drop will never blot up in the restroom. Disaster and humiliation will ensue. :face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth: My mom, who would now be 126, would love that sweater-jacket. The pearls too,

Many years ago, when I was in college textbook publishing, I copyedited a statistics textbook that used Mendel as a case study. The author showed the near-impossibility of Mendel getting those perfect results of 25/50/25 color ratios. He concluded that Mendel must have fudged his numbers to make his case. It was really interesting.

It’s mistake to go from the statistical to the particular w/o a detailed context – e.g., “spectrum” refers to the species (see the linked article) – and your question lacks that so the simple and honest answer is “I don’t know” nor do I have any way of finding out at this point. I assume they were normal as those are the statistical odds and they could conceive. However some anomalous genotypes such as XXY or XYY also appear normal and can conceive. OTOH others such as a straight-up, fully male XY but with Swyer Syndrome or androgen insensitivity may not fully express as male or in some cases appear to be complete females with all the relevant equipment.

ETA: I say this not as someone who particularly cares about the details here, the better point probably being why anyone else should either. As for the good Ms Lucas who not only appears to think she has a case but one worthy of policy priority …well, even agreeing she might have a case at all seems to go too far never mind the policy argument.

It looks woven to me. Knitting with boucle is a nightmare, but it’s terrific for weft yarn.

So this woman graduated Magna cum Laude from Penn and got her JD from Virginia. Then she worked at Gibson Dunn as a litigator. She’s not stupid, like say, Kegsbreath or MTG, which is unfortunate.

Apparently, she has two children, which I find surprising for someone so uptight; but I guess she put up with sex a few times until she’d had her requisite births.

“As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart’s desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.” – H.L. Are these people (all of Trump’s arse kissers) so certain they’ll be rich enough when he’s gone, consequences won’t matter?

I think their idea is more along the Eternal Reich lines. Consequences don’t matter if you’re permanently in charge.

Off topic, but really more of the same:

Why do we politely tolerate Kennedy’s views and words. This guy is practicing medicine without a license. People will die as a consequence of his “opinions” that are not based on medical and scientific facts.

Does anyone recall during the Covid-19 early months the tally the WaPo weekly published (before their owner put his profits ahead of the United States) that presented (conservative) statistical estimates showing that approximately 500,000 additional people died owing the Trump’s response policies and that of the rest of his administration? These are real US citizens that should not have died but did. And here we go again.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/health/2022/02/15/1-million-excess-deaths-in-pandemic/

or

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/01/10/yes-hundreds-thousands-people-have-died-covid-19/

(You can look up WaPo excess Covid-19 death counter yourself and see the timeline as well.)

Now, look at the measles data. It is also clear why they wish to suppress the CDC and drive out the scientists and physicians serving this country through their efforts at the CDC:

It is time that someone charge Kennedy with manslaughter.

From Wiki: "Criminally negligent manslaughter: It occurs where death results from serious negligence or, in some jurisdictions, serious recklessness. A high degree of negligence is required to warrant criminal liability. A related concept is that of willful blindness, where a defendant intentionally puts themselves in a position where they will be unaware of facts which would render them liable.

Criminally negligent manslaughter occurs where there is an omission to act when there is a duty to do so, or a failure to perform a duty owed, which leads to a death. The existence of the duty is essential because the law does not impose criminal liability for a failure to act unless a specific duty is owed to the victim. It is most common in the case of professionals who are grossly negligent in the course of their employment."

He will try to run but we should not let him hide. He needs to go. People are dying that should not be doing so.

Exactly, very weird.

So do men have single sex spaces at work? And what does that exactly look like? Are we segregating men and women at work? If so, do we have other segregtion spaces at work? Do we segregate on basis of age, skin color or religion (or lack thereof)?

Gender identity should be on the bottom of page three on the yellow pad priority list. Bu NOOO, Dem Party puts it in the top ten. 99% of Americans would say ‘huh’ if you asked them ‘how do you identify’? And when you explained, all you would get is a laugh. That’s how absurd this whole ‘issue’ is.

It’s nothing more than a distraction and Democrats don’t know what to do with it. So Republicans do it for them.

Oh for godsake. Gender isn’t binary. You can be born appearing female and have a 5-alpha reductive deficiency and grow a penis around age 12. You can be born legally male with an X and Y, have penis and testes and a uterus and fallopian tubes. You can be born legally female with two Xs but one of the Xs has an SRY gene, which gives you a male body. I COULD GO ON!

I would suggest Murder in the 3rd degree, depending on jurisdiction.

Murder 3:
A killing that is not intentional and not premeditated, but results from an act that is eminently dangerous to others and shows a depraved mind or extreme recklessness.

But, that is science. Didn’t Geesus tell all these “chosen ones” that science was of the Devil, and to fight it with all their might?
I wonder if this bimbo could enumerate all the “illegal” DEI based laws. Seems like most of those laws were enacted in order to protect people from racist people like her.

So what should women athletes do, just deal with it?

And what do you tell her, just ‘do your best’ if the ‘woman’ she’s competing against is taller, significantly stronger with 20-50% more muscle mass, and even more so in upper body strength, greater bone density, lung capacity, etc?

And what do you tell her when she gets bounced off her college scholarship b/c she’s ‘too slow’, or if she’s an elite swimmer hoping to be one day compete in the Olympics, but loses out b/c some dude was two seconds faster?

Yes, they should just deal with it, in the incredibly unlikely case it comes up.

Current rates of transgender athletes you have to be concerned about in the NCAA–

Total athletes: approximately 510,000.
Transgender athletes: fewer than 10.

It’s such a scourge.
