A day after he pledged to work toward a smooth transition of power — a moot effort after five people died during a violent insurrection on the Capitol this week — President Trump announced Friday that he will not attend Joe Biden’s inauguration on Jan. 20.

It took exactly one second for the word “punk” to come to my mind after reading that headline.
Of course he won’t go. He hasn’t the class, the balls and it’s not about him. He’d be sitting in the presence of his conqueror…the man that bested him and hasn’t what it takes to do that.
At this point, I understand. No one wants to be handcuffed in front of the whole world.

I’m sure Biden is thrilled that he doesn’t have to thank Trump for his service. Every president always thanks their predecessor in their speech.
