Without naming names, my job includes serving several Hispanic gentlemen who work at the local factory of a widely recognized regional brand. They are no different than any other hard working guys. My organization subscribes to an online translator service in case their English isn’t up to the task, and yes, it takes a few extra minutes to speak through a translator. Frankly, it takes no more than to listen to a white guy yap about the weather.
I just can’t fathom the animus towards people who are frankly working jobs that nobody else wants. A local white person could do as well or better, working for undeclared cash.

I know this isnt an actual peanuts cartoon, or at least dont think it is, and its pretty funny,but
I know this isn’t from an actual Peanuts comic,and is funny as hell, but it makes me think how much ive grown to dislike Peanuts the comic. It’s depressing as fuck, largely hopeless, the kids are very often cruel to each other. I have fond memories of the cartoons but even then they’re kinda depressing. I know its off topic from the poibt of the article but it just reminded me of someone I was thinking about recently.

The mother of his other sons and plastic Barbie was also an immigrant, so they are all of that "poisonous blood. Trump himself…a confirmed rapist and sexual predator… does not have very “clean blood” himself. His Father was a crook, his grandfather was a pimp, and all the Trumps in Donnie’s line have been cowardly draft evaders.

Every male in my generation of my family served. Except me. At age 5 I had polio. Messed up my spine but I took the draft physical as I was told to. No evasion. Doc looks at my x-ray &says … “shit son, we can’t have you jumpin’ into fox holes!” I failed the physical. Got a new draft card. I was rated “not currently subject to classification action”.
That is way different from having a shyster doctor write the Draft Board with an unsubstantiated note about “Bone Spurs”. No X-rays or anything. Just a rich coward not wanting to be one of those “suckers and losers”.
