Of course they vote by mail.
Can you seriously envision any of them waiting on line with the hoi polloi?

Hypocrisy and lying are not only Trump’s trademark, but also that of the many GOP elected officials seeking to suppress turnout. They know there is virtually no voting fraud for mail in ballots. They just don’t care. To them, their party’s minority rule is all that matters.

Can you imagine Trump trying to figure out how to cast a vote in public?
Voting by mail allows him to have is staff read and explain each candidate and mark who he chooses.
The only part of voting he understands is where he signs.

Sort of misses the point. “Fraud” doesn’t mean “someone without the right to vote casting a ballot” when they say it. It means “non-white, non-Christian, non-GOPer voters casting ballots.”

so?.. we will no longer see the election day photo ops of the candidates stepping out of a voting booth? or have these been staged charades for years?

In Oregon, we’ve voted exclusively by mail for years. And, as a sign that it works as intended, we have only one Republican in our Congressional delegation.

My thought was that their definition of “fraud” was voting for a Democrat. Two sides of the same coin.

Even when he does it for show he still has to cheat.

There are two principles the GOP consistently practices:

  1. “Do as I say, not as I do;”
  2. They psychologically project their own criminal intent onto the very parties they victimize.

So it stands to reason that Trump would vote by mail while denouncing it. And the allegations of voter fraud that are their excuse, well, that’s what they are practicing, as the massive fraud in the North Carolina district during the 2018 mid-terms showed.

Republicans have pushed for absentee with mail in voting as long as I can remember going all the way back to the 1960s. Suddenly, it’s a sinister idea because Democrats want everyone to have that same option? BS is hypocritical BS.

What people don’t know is you can get you ballot in the mail and take it to either your local city hall or to the polling place and deliver it in person. When I was working the polls we had thousands of ballots delivered that way. Many people said they didn’t trust the mail to deliver on time so they just dropped by city hall and put it in the designated mailbox for ballots. If an individual is unable to deliver in person they can have someone do it for them. Easy.

Trump and I both vote by mail in Palm Beach County (Mar-A-Logo is just across the bridge and down A1A.) Nobody has ever said there is a problem with the system employed by Florida. We don’t have to prove we are out of the country, ill, elderly or any meet any other special requirement. All we have to do is follow the procedure outlined on the county website, which includes identifying who we are, and they send us ballots. I bet you can sign up in person or some other way if you don’t have internet access.

Voting by mail beats the hell out of hanging chads and makes for much shorter lines on election day.

The only “voter fraud” taking place here is the dumpster voting from Mar-a-mango as his residence. Mar-a-mango is classified as a business, not a residence, therefore he is NOT a resident of Florida.

I live in the same county as Donald Trump. I vote by mail too. There is nothing to it. Very easy, very safe and very, very convenient.

There is no contradiction as far as Republican sees it. In their views, only Republicans should be allowed to access to the vote and even then only and only if they’ll vote for the designated Republican candidate. And I am not even going to describe what they think of the concept of voting registration being recorded or of votes being counted by anyone than them. Really, as far as they’re concerned, anything involving non-Republicans anywhere near the voting process is a flavor of election fraud.

When Al Franken wrote Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them, he included a hilarious anecdote about sneaking in to Liberty University IIRC and getting caught. He said he felt bad about the lies he told and wondered what it must do to people who lie all the time about far more important things. It’s what I think about every time I read stories like this. Are the money and power really worth your souls, Republicans? Answer: of course!
