Trump is full-blown blatant evil.
It’s the end of the dog-whistle era.
Time to kill Americans that won’t re-elect Trump.

Trump has internalized anything that changes the approach to getting COVID-19 under control as a personal affront. (Really, any time anything or anyone confronts him with being wrong, that’s his response.)

Like the three-year-old sociopath that he is, he will adamantly refuse to change.

But (true to his historical pattern) once Congress passes the additional funding for the CDC, he will take credit for it.

Trump may be burning down the entire federal government a little ahead of schedule. It’s almost as if he’s so sure that Joe Biden will inherit his mess, that he wants to ensure there’s nothing left of this country but smoking embers by Jan 20, 2021.

Trump is politically embarrassed by all the pandemic statistics.
Rather than see the statistics of cases, treatment cures and fatalities I guess Trump is content to just see all the bodies of his victims piling up. Perhaps they should all be delivered to the White House front lawn.

Apparently, he’s serious when he insists that, without tests, there’s no coronavirus. Just a whole boatload of strange, pneumonia-like deaths, but who’s counting? I mean, seriously, who’s counting???

And no money and no confidence in government.

Jared wants to zero out $$ for testing and contract tracing. This follows Trump’s logic that if you don’t test, there is no virus. badda bing badda boom

One person involved in the talks told The Post that Senate Republicans were seeking to allocate $25 billion for states to conduct testing and contact tracing, but that certain administration officials want to zero out the testing and tracing money entirely.

Will Susan Collins’ brow furrow a bit deeper now? And will Mitt Romney issue a milquetoast condemnation? And will Mitch McConnell respond by suggesting people wear masks?

If you wanted one data point to show that Trump is mentally ill and not doing things that could benefit himself in any rationally conceivable way, this is it. Those luckily well-led nations that spared themselves the worst effects of this pandemic were aggressive about social distancing, testing, and tracking. By contrast, our federal government was forced to stand by and watch, and now we’re losing a thousand people a day. This is government by madman.

The problem is this story doesn’t tell us if this effort is part of the normal give and take of negotiations that accompany any legislation or if it is in support of Trump’s “let 'er rip” anti-science economic strategy.

I was listening to sports radio. Ed Orgeron head coach of the LSU tigers was saying we “need” football this fall.

It all sounds like a kid crying because, after dad got fired and his brother got arrested, they never have ice cream any more.

Why does the President hate the human race? Is it because he doesn’t belong to it? Is this an outer-borough type of mentality?

There was a Russian journalist named Ilya Ehrenburg who saw the aftermath of the German invasion of Russia and said a pen was no longer adequate—a tommygun was needed.

Trump doesn’t do “give & take”. He’s a “my way or the highway” kind of guy.

Now, Feinstein’s “no money to states that refuse to help themselves” is a great negotiating ploy. It forces Republicans allocating funds to publicly acknowledge that yes, covid-19 is a real thing, and it’s dangerous, if they want to get any money for their states. And it allows Democrats to use that prohibition as a bargaining chip to, let’s say, halt further tax cuts for the rich, or savaging Social Security and Medicare like Trump wants.

Zeroing out testing money for the states? That’s just a toddler breaking toys.
