Hard to believe, unless he plans on making delivery prior to Jan 20, 2021 @1215 EST part of the requirements

They’ll find some way to screw up this negotiation! Like paying 10x what’s necessary?

Pfizer’s angle:

Pfizer urged the Trump administration to order the company’s suppliers to prioritize its purchase requests so that it can manufacture more doses on a quicker timeline.

Get the federal government to force your suppliers to break their contracts with your competitors.

As long as some of that money finds its way into the right accounts, everything is cool.

If only the president was some sort of ace negotiator.

This must be ‘the art of the deal’ that we never understood. TURN DOWN the opportunity to BUY MILLIONS of doses months ago…Berate, smear and insult the company when they sell to Europe. Pay premium prices for the does we DO get and now scramble for more. WOW. No wonder Donnie had to declare bankruptcy so many times.

Months after refusing to reserve more doses of Pfizer’s vaccine, the Trump administration has secured only enough vaccine doses to cover 150 million people by the end of June, including doses of a second vaccine from Moderna awaiting emergency authorization from the FDA this week. The figure would cover less than half of the U.S. population.

Malfeasance writ large, in the blood of thousands of Americans.

If the shortage occurs, it will occur under the Biden administration. Biden will be the convenient scapegoat for Republicans.

Republicans are great at pinning their mistakes on the subsequent Democratic administration left with the clean up. Did you see the deficit crater the first two months of the Obama administration? Libs and their tax and spend ways…

I wonder who is scrambling, certainly not Trump. Maybe Ivanka who may have eyes on taking down Rubio?

under this ego fascist , that is a requirement. Just another avenue to use the grift.
