The narcissist has no moral or ethical compass. Everything is judged against one criterion only: Is this making me look good or look bad? For weeks Pastor Mike and the Orange Bloat have been whining in public about how increased testing has led to increased diagnoses.The tests are making the Bloat look bad. Ergo: Gotta make it harder to get tested. We no longer have governance. We have only image management. This is a failed state.
When, by the way, are Birx and Fauci going to step in front of the cameras and say these kinds of actions are dead wrong? Do they really want history to judge them to have been passive toadies?

The republicans have finally seen the handwriting on the wall in the number of cases and the polls. They’re getting on lifeboats, and as we all remember from the Titanic, there weren’t enough and/or enough time to save everyone.
It’s stunning that they followed Trump’s lead for this long. They were unbelievably stupid to believe that this wouldn’t get worse without the right measures.
