Note to a group we’ll tactfully call everyone: The two parties are not the same. They’re very different. Really.

I expect that President Buttigieg will reverse that before nightfall on January 20, 2021.

Piss off, criminal in chief.

It´s nice to see that rather than being frozen by the impeachment, the Trump admin still has the energy to turn over every rock in their efforts to be dicks to the citizens of America.

And that, gentle reader, is why Evangelicals overwhelmingly do not want Trump impeached.

Hey, I’ve got that very same saw, it’s old now, maybe I should donate it to the cause. It can cut through wood/metal in a jiffy if the proper blade is used.

This is when I remember why I can’t vote for Republicans.
Civil rights should TRUMP everything.

From June 13, 2016
Manchester, New Hampshire (CNN) – Donald Trump sought to portray himself Monday as an ally of the LGBT community in the wake of the terrorist attack on an Orlando gay nightclub.

“This is a very dark moment in America’s history,” the presumptive Republican nominee said. “A radical Islamic terrorist targeted the nightclub not only because he wanted to kill Americans, but in order to execute gay and lesbian citizens because of their sexual orientation.”

Trump went on to label the attack a “strike at the heart and soul of who we are as a nation” and an “assault” on people’s ability to “love who they want and express their identity.”

The saw is the easy part. The 15-mile extension cord to the nearest plug is a bit tougher.

And now… this…

My first thought was: welp, another generation is getting to see the difference between a Republican & a Democratic administration.

There are legit criticisms of the Democratic Party but I honestly believe the bulk of those criticisms come down to the party not living up to its ideals (& people not holding their reps accountable to do so). We can argue about a lot of things and somedays I feel like it’s a bit deeper or too far gone & maybe I should be undeclared but most of the time I think a lot could be solved if left side people were less cynical & at least always voted.

There are very few humans and no human institutions that don’t at least sometimes disappoint people. You have to look at the big picture and ask which choice will give your community and society better outcomes. If you sit home or cast a protest vote you’re effectively helping the Republicans. Don’t help the Republicans, folks. Not if you’re a progressive.

“Red meat,” as one used to say.

By and large, ideals are things we strive toward but seldom if ever actually achieve.
They’re a good thing, though.

Can’t they just tap in to The Wall’s own power source?
