President Donald Trump seems to be buying into the conspiracy theory alleging that the COVID-19 virus came from a lab in Wuhan, China, and members of his administration are helping him peddle the claim.

And, to ensure this, he must at all times, deflect, gaslight, lie, and, in general, deny the nature of the reality.

Conspiracy theories run rampant during a pandemic and people are easy prey for nonsensical ideas to make sense of something that is hard to wrap our heads around.
