The Trump administration’s National Park Service announced on Monday that it would not go through with its proposed restrictions on protests and demonstrations near the White House and the National Mall.
Comments matter! Every damn time you see them trying to push through another of their goddamn insane authoritarian schemes by regulatory change, find the relevant webpage and comment.
And also remember that almost every time you see a headline claiming that Trump has changed regulations, what it really means is that his stooges have proposed changes subject to the notice, comment and adoption process and you should comment.
"The agency defended the ‘intent’ of its proposal, claiming that it was meant to ‘protect the iconic landmarks, views and grounds for use and enjoyment of citizens and visitors from around the globe.’”
What could be a better use and bring more enjoyment than protesting against the former reality TV show host?
“The Trump administration’s National Park Service announced on Monday that it would not go through with its proposed restrictions on protests and demonstrations near the White House…”
I understand the proposed restriction died ‘Whimpering, Crying, and Screaming’.
… it was meant to “protect the iconic landmarks, views and grounds for use and enjoyment of citizens and visitors from around the globe Putin’s cock-holster and his generous donor sycophants.”

So…Trump will finally get his record-breaking crowd on the National Mall. I’m sure the “boos” will be far in excess of what occurred during Obama’s terms. Congratulations?
I can never figure out how to do the strikeout thing, but here’s the FIFY version:
The agency defended the “intent” of its proposal, claiming that it was meant to “protect Donald Trump’s delicate fee fees from exposure to anyone other than his MAGAts. You know, like at the Nats game.”
The number of carefully selected and coached rally goers who chanted “Lock her up!” was exceeded by tens of thousands of World Series fans who spontaneously chanted “Lock Him Up!” The point is that keeping the boy isolated from the public adds to his delusions of grandeur. Letting people express their speech freely helps to let him know what he is doing is very un-Smurfy.
I suppose I should applaud the Park Service for not doing the wrong thing.
