Probably just an oversight.

In Trump world… " put 'em together and whaddya got…bibidi bobidi boo " …gaslighting your own people is a remarkable gambit.

The Anti-genius tries do it yourself diplomacy. Sloppy work. No attention to the important details. It’s pretty stupid considering there are Department of State professionals already in place. Bonus screwup points for preemptively eliminating the diplomats as scapegoats.

That’s very damming, the person in charge of foreign relations with Ukraine didn’t see the transcript of a phone call with the president before meeting the (still new) Ukrainian president the next day. There is no excuse for that, so it’s just more indication of the Trump people trying to cover up his bad actions.

Man, Taylor’s testimony was really damaging, and we only really know about his introduction…when we get the full transcript it’s probably going to be worse, and Taylor is going to be a very powerful witness in the public hearings. It sounds like he won’t allow any Republican nonsense during hearings either. This really makes impeachment almost a lock, and it should trouble Republicans greatly, though if it’s enough to get the Senate to vote against Trump is still a long shot.

Hey, Republicans … everybody good with this? With everything Taylor had to say?

I guess you want this all made public in its entirety right away? Along with the other testimony and documents? With summaries and cross-references?

“I did not see any official readout of the call until it was publicly released on September 25,” Taylor wrote, referring to the day the Trump administration made a memorandum of the call public for the world to read.

Perfectly normal, nothing to see here…

Ambassador Bill Taylor’s opening statement is public and extremely damning. It’s 15 pages and a must read.

I have to look at it later, but thank you.

The acting ambassador to Ukraine did not receive a readout of the now-infamous July 25 phone call between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Bill Taylor made the astonishing claim on Tuesday in written testimony to the House committees conducting the impeachment inquiry.

Discobot hates me because someone else used this quote.
That said…
OK, why should the acting ambassador know what’s going on anyway? I mean, trump said he could do this “presidenting thing all by himself”…Who needs diplomats when you think like that. And why should trump incriminate himself to a guy who is only an “acting ambassador”?

Are ya happy now discobot?? So, I have this theory I have been kicking around. I think Discobot and that search bot in Windows 10 called “Cortana” are mother and offspring. Offspring because I have no knowledge as to what discobot’s gender or non-gender might be. But Cortana is clearly female.

I think Trumpworld is going to shoot the moon when it comes to those bonus screwup points.

Nothing says “consciousness of guilt” like hiding classified information from people with both clearance and a documented need to know.

…long shot

Nah, 85% chance in my view. Not a long shot at all by the time the impeachment vote comes. There is a huge reservoir of information that shows the criminality of both the Trump Administration and the Republicans who support him.

To me, the question of how many of the 53 Republic senators will vote to convict hinges on this: many Republic senators took rubles laundered through the NRA, somebody’s Russian friend (so many!) or some other corrupt acceptance of foreign aid for their campaigns (or personal enrichment - come on, they’re Republics!). Those senators are complicit and open to criminal indictment. Are there more than 33 Republic senators who are complicit? If so, no conviction, its existential for them to let the world’s biggest mob get away with the world’s biggest crime spree.

Are there less than 33 so there’s 20 that CAN convict? If so, the question for them is, is integrity and honesty and duty a big enough pull that they would assist in seeing the Republic party be destroyed and overcome the pain of watching their close personal friends go to jail.

Are there 20 available for that and will they let their world collapse? To me, there is an 85% chance of that, the evidence and the chance of a brutal electoral defeat for these senators is growing everyday. Long shot? No way, and it provides those 20 senators cover to say it.

Shit! Some of that got on me!
