I think Anonymous is not a person, they’re a group. A good editor can turn multiple accounts into one voice. That’s why the White House can’t find them, won’t find them this time either. If no one person is present at all events described, nobody can be fingered.

But those are the qualities the anonymous Trump official likes, it’s Trump managerial style that they don’t like, and maybe the outright grifting, and also I bet Trump tracks food all over the Oval Office, and chews with his mouth open is a given.
It won’t change a thing. People who love him will love him no matter what. GOP members of Congress will not change until their base tells them that its time. People who have already seen him for what he is will not read the book and say “maybe I have misjudged him.” No change at all. The MSM will buy the book and give us the highlights. We don’t even have to read it.
I just saw a video of Lindsey Graham whining about the fact that we still don’t know who the whistle blower is. I don’t know if it was an old video or if he’s still mouthing that cant, but I assume that they’ll sing the same song with this book. Until the person is public so that he or she can be assassinated by a person exercising his 2nd amendment right to be vile, we can’t take him or her seriously.
Yawn…Besides which in the headline: “Top Trump Official Behind Anonymous NYT Op-Ed Is Publishing An Exposé” there should either be an “Alleged” before “Top Trump Official” or the phrase “Top Trump Official” should be in quotes. I don’t think anyone really believes this is a “Top” official in the Trump administration.
I’ve always believed it was Kellyanne who wrote it. That belief has been bolstered ever since it came out with husband George attacking and disparaging trumPP every chance he gets and they’re evidently still married and living together. They are in it together with their eyes on getting out of the admin and into reputable gigs ever since.

I am going to go contrarian to the thread on this one.
It will change things. It will reveal a lot of tawdry details and paint an incredibly chaotic view of the Administration, and every talking head on TV will be discussing it…
…at precisely the moment when the Trump Administration is falling apart. Trump will go even more ballistic, and man hours they don’t have will be spent trying to find out who it is, and the paranoia and distrust will shoot sky high.
At the time they desperately need to be circling the wagons, they will be forming circular firing squads instead.
