Powerful Republican politicians on Thursday and Friday egged on President Donald Trump’s insane lies that simply counting votes was actually election theft.
Well, the ballots are already counted and Biden won. At this point, there’s pretty much nothing team Trump can do to overturn results. Tweets, yes. Tantrums, yes. A completely psychotic meltdown, probably. But nothing that will make any difference. It’s over folks.
The still picture in the tweet of Graham - he looks really unwell. Perhaps he’s thinking about what might come out about him once Barr is no longer sitting on things at DoJ.
I honestly wonder if there are any Republican voters who’ve listened closely to what their leaders have been saying these last few days and thought “Hmmm… I may have made a terrible mistake.”
There’s no evidence at all to suggest that there was widespread voter fraud
There’s no evidence at all to suggest there was any voter fraud whatsoever, at least apart from that one Trumper in Nevada who tried to vote twice. What’s up with this “widespread” bullshit?
Lost the contest to govern the nation? Then make the nation ungovernable.
The goal here isn’t to win the election. The goal is to convince a significant portion of the electorate that their vote was stolen and to de-legitimize Biden before he even walks into the White House. Fox News was already considering the concept of pre-Impeachment earlier this week. I suspect we’ll start to hear this type of talk from McCarthy once the election is called.
The GOP is poised to lose the abortion wedge issue given the seating of Barrett. This is their new wedge: Biden stole the election. I wouldn’t put it past them to set up Trump in Mar-a-lago as the antipope.
Wow, 2 leading lights of the GOP come to Donnie’s defense.
Ted Cruz, alum of the Brooks Brothers Riot in 2000.
Newt who was kicked out of the Speakership by his own party.
These attacks on the integrity of the great people who take their jobs as poll officials seriously and with integrity is a shameful act of desperation.
"And the new senator-elect in Alabama, former college football coach Tommy Tuberville, seemed to miss entirely what the fake scandal was that he was supposed to be pushing.
Tuberville, rather than focusing on false talking points about fraud or election monitoring, compared the election in which legally cast votes are still being counted to a football game where time has run out.
“The American people deserve transparency and to know the integrity of our votes are preserved,” he said, after saying it was wrong to count ballots."
Doug Jones was to sensible for the Home folks I see.
