If you’re in it strictly for the dollars then it’s a simple economic question about the quality of the severance package.

“TMTG strictly adheres to all laws and applicable regulations.”
Did they specify of which country?

It seems the departing execs were under the mistaken impression it was a legitimate business, rather than a money-laundering exercise to funnel foreign money to TCF. Also Moo-nes was just doing what’s natural for him, i.e. grift and corruption.

The COO announced his “resignation” yesterday. It might be worth mentioning that Northwall’s resignation was announced as the market closed on Thursday. As of July, Northwall owned 20,000 shares, according to an SEC filing made at the time. Based on the current stock price of $16.17 those shares are currently worth $323,000. On Thursday, the day of Northwall’s left, TMTG stock closed up 2.3%. But his severance package is probably worth more than his stock holdings.

Yeah he’s gone, along with others. But, they are all grifters and scum…

Look who’s on the Board of Directors: Linda McMahon (who is one of the biggest donors to the company), and none other than DJ Trump, Junior. What do you expect???

They just slush-fund everything. The SPAC vehicle for starting this company involved a zillion bucks from shady foreign interests; the process was improper (something about timing of disclosures to investors), he made Devin - who seems to have been deeply involved in the counterintelligence nightmare of the Trump administration (running around to SCIFs at midnight?) the head - as in you have a lot of dirt on me, let me make you and keep you wealthy - and he seems to still be doing something hinky w/r/t N. Macedonia (will look to see how Russified their govt is, but expect it to be). Throwing lots of money to big donors (for vague “business deals”) also seems hinky.

Further, taking over the RNC and replacing their ground game apparatus with mainly two big-money PACs, one headed by Musk and the other by Charlie Kirk, then having them seem to do ~nothing for ground game, also looks a lot like slush-funding to people who have dirt on T and are keeping quiet (Charlie Kirk) and also to those who are helping him out a lot with electioneering - Elon running X the way he runs it is sort of an in-kind contribution for Trump. And Kirk was up to his neck in J6 and took the 5th throughout his committee deposition. T has a long history of creating entities for questionable purposes, including rewarding loyalty. That’s what all of this looks like to me. Disgusting that the appeals court looking at the New York fraud case has been so hostile to the judgment against him there.

Anyway: Trumpworld, where everything’s a slush fund!

For years, I heard that about all prostitution. I also suddenly recall that, a while back, red states consumed more porn per capita than blue states (don’t know if that’s still operative)

Why is any of this a surprise?

It was doomed from the start. The only surprise will be how it will collapse and how soon.

Just one more Trump con gone bust.

In a statement, a spokesperson for Trump Media did not answer specific questions but said that ProPublica’s inquiry to the company “utterly fabricates implications of improper and even illegal conduct that have no basis in reality.”

Steven Cheung gets around.
