The takeaway: Mobsters gotta mob.
It’s stunning how quickly we’ve come to be the very embodiment of all the things we railed against “shithole” governments doing (while simultaneously supporting the worst of the worst) for all these years.
While it’s convenient to place the blame solely on Dr. Cadet Toadglans mit der Bone Spurs von Queens, he’s merely the most visible symptom of the malignant disease that has been there all along.
In the long run, this could – could – be a good thing. Putin’s cock-holster* will die. The question then is: How far and with how much vigor will we go to prosecute and remove the vermin ensconced within our government and businesses?
Obama fucked up (and lost my support) as soon as he said “Look forward, not backward.” Will we walk the same path again and let the same cancer continue to eat us up?

So, in addition to the illegal domestic and international law breaking, Democrats will have these crimes to prosecute.
I only “admire” the Trump administration for one thing: the speed at which they’ve succeeded at corruption from top to bottom.

Agreed, but I’d add that, for me, it’s that they’ve ripped the mask off the Republican’t Party and shown for all the world to see, that all the things they’ve so publicly and performatively claimed for decades to care about are utter lies.
Protection of the unborn.
Federal budget deficits.
Being faithful followers of Jesus of Nazareth.
Freedom and liberty (for anyone OTHER than themselves)
Fairness and honesty.
Adherence to the rule of law.
Conservation of our environment.
Advancement of our species.
Support for families.
Respect for the marginalized.
And so on….
At long last, I’m in the position of NEVER AGAIN taking another lecture from them on ANY point of morality.
