Frankly, this is torches and pitchforks time. Trump needs to be smoked out of the White House and chased from office. The only thing the public and media can comprehend are violent demonstrations on the tv every night, so maybe that time is now? What is the alternative?

I think so or they have him on steroids. He’s enormous. And it is all him - I’ve seen other pictures that show that clearly. You see it mostly when he’s in golf clothes.

Honestly in many ways this is unfolding in an excellent way for the Dems.
Were Trump competent these efforts could have been executed quietly and with plausible deniability.
But he’s not.
His verbal diarrhea, his saying the “quiet part” out loud, is doing nothing but keeping the Dems in a high state of agitation and motivation, helping avoid the usual Dem Circular Firing Squads and Drama Llamas panic squads.
He’s of course swamping most of his own messages, while also seems likely he’s undercutting parts of his own vote given older Americans depend more on the Postal Service and mail ballots.
Keep this in the news along with the ongoing Covid19 failure (and the spreading effect in White Rural lands) and November looks bad for him even with voter suppression efforts - although we can expect all out ramp up on that as he panics.

Let’s say you live in a city like Milwaukee or Waukesha in Wisconsin. During the April primary/election, Waukesha citizens were restricted to one polling place. If I recall correctly, Milwaukee citizens were restricted to three or four polling places. In the city of Waukesha, the mayor took to robocalling voters and pleading with them to vote by absentee ballot. We all saw that this resulted in a blue wave with respect to the state-side election of a Democratic SC of WI judge over the Republican incumbent.
Now BLOTUS IMPOTUS is doing everything in his power to damage the USPS in order to crush mail-in-voting. A side effect of this tactic is that seniors and veterans who rely on the USPS to receive medications and social security checks will find their deliveries slowed, placing them at increased risk. The intended purpose to this tactic against the USPS is to throw the vote into question and delegitimize the result. I believe that this will backfire spectacularly on The Dotard because Americans don’t like cheaters and Americans don’t like people who needlessly put others at risk.
We’re around 80 days from the election. I went for a drive yesterday through the very Republican areas of Waukesha county, including the very wealthy Delafield area. This drive went through the same route that I have taken over many years. I saw only four “Trump-Pence” signs. Four years ago I saw well over one magnitude more Trump-Pence signs. It could be that some Trump supporters are ashamed. It could be that folks are waiting for new signs subsequent to the GOP convention. It could be that some Trump supporters have seen the light and now realize they made a mistake voting for him. I spoke with one person who voted for Trump in 2016 who now states that “Trump is an asshole.”
I think that from an electability perspective, Trump is in very, very serious trouble.

Word on the street is the Bucks are opening their arena to use as a polling place with shuttle service from all over the city. Other teams are offering their arenas as well (Atlanta, being another).

I worry about obtaining the needed quantity of election workers. That could be a very serious bottleneck.

If I am still unemployed come the election, I plan to get on board with the effort.
But if they can consolidate the locations like this, there’s a lesser need - one polling place - 20 or 30 workers, but 156 polling places at no less than 2 or 3 a piece is a whole lot more.

Over the weekend, the U.S. Postal Service warned states that it cannot guarantee all mail-in ballots for the November election will arrive in time to be counted
Surprise!!! … Republicans don’t believe in government service.
