I liked Steyer. But only as my number four or so. I was glad he was one of ours.
Steyer-nara.
Yeah, I’m holding out for Howard Schultz.
He had to spend $192M to discover the folly of this pursuit including $22M in S.C…
@daveminnj Because guaranteed lattes for life and a promise they won’t ask your name before you order one.
Does he endorse?
Does it matter?
I thought his TV ads were effective. I think he can still play an important role by funding anti-Trump TV ads. Negative ads work.
I hope Steyer and Bloomberg fund the negative ads; that would free the Democratic nominee to concentrate on positive messages.
I’m thinking of B’berg’s pledge to endorse the eventual nominee if he’s not the one and throw big bucks his/her way, but how he can do that if he’s not yet talking about dropping out.
@georgesalt I hope Steyer and Bloomberg fund the negative ads.
Which would write themselves.
Honestly, he should have never had entered in the first place.
1 b’naire down, 2 to go.
Who are the two?
Pretty sure he’s counting the fake billionaire inhabiting defiling the WH.
No disrespect, but I think his tie made more of an impact than he ever did. Did you see the “name the billionaire” bit Colbert did with Senator Warren? She guessed Steyer immediately after Colbert mentioned the tie.
Bingo
Rather than blowing millions on a doomed vanity run for president, put that money towards anti-Trump ads and GOTV.
He was always just an annoying presence, like ads for Depends. Good riddance.
I think not
He has been saturating the airwaves with Anti Trump messaging for the last 3 years and it moved the needle exactly Zilch
There is something inherently obtuse in the behavior of these billionaires that assume money trumps politicing and that elections can be bought
He had name recognition but was exciting as dry toast
Bloomberg and whanabe Trump
B’berg is so fucking rich he could bankroll the rest of the campaign with what is under the cushions on his couch. We’ll see how honest he is in a month or two.
Good. The money would be better spent on GOTV and turning the Senate blue!
