You know this dude looks back at Black Plague and points to all the ways that the victims brought it on themselves: they shouldn’t have lived in cities; they should have gotten more sunshine; they should have prayed more; they should’ve eaten organic food they’d grown themselves; they should have abstained from meat.
The fact that survival seems to have been predicated on a fortunate kink in the DNA never gets a look in of course, nor would the fact that the vast majority of the dead were rural peasants working every day in the sunshine producing organic food, were very religious, and couldn’t afford to eat much, if any meat.
I guess those millions upon millions of poor saps didn’t eat enough seasonal produce? Or perhaps their prayers weren’t sincere enough?
