Ya know? I’m beginning to question whether the Russians know how to use airborne units in any capacity other than as suicide squads? 
There is no element of surprise here and you are dropping guys into a perimeter that has thousands of folks readily armed and on high alert.
Dropping 120-150 lightly armed infantry into this is not an act of military brilliance. But you russkies go right ahead. Surely some poet will pen The fall of the X brigade to ensure that generations of children learn that Russian generals were never all that smart.
