That’s a pretty heavy book that’s been thrown! She deserves every charge. I guess her defense will be “mY oRangE goD tolD me 2 do it”

Law and order party, my ass. Resisting search warrant? Make sure you knock her head against the police car when you put her in the car!

Wonder who’s going to keep her iPad from the cops, now?

This must have been heady fun for her. She just could not imagine getting caught and prosecuted.

Feels good to finally see justice. Hopefully more to come through prosecution and more charges filed against all the bad actors.

Welp, she made the Front Lines…

State charges, not federal. But it looks like they’re being thorough. What do the letter-number codes after each charge mean?

eg. identity theft (F4), first degree official misconduct (M2), violation of duty (M)

“The charges against Peters include three counts of attempting to influence a public servant, one count of conspiracy to commit attempt to influence a public servant, criminal impersonation, conspiracy to commit criminal impersonation, identity theft, first-degree official misconduct, violation of duty, failing to comply with the secretary of state…”

“…and being a chundering derpnozzle.”

I cannot shake the feeling that this person is not in this for money or anything else other than sheer zealotry.

Grand jury was convened in part by Republican Mesa County DA Dan Rubenstein.

The Colorado GOP can’t even get their own story straight. I’ve been marveling at their steady self-destruction ever since I moved to the state 18 years ago.

She’s resisting arrest. Why isn’t some cop’s knee on her neck for 9 minutes?

Because she’s wearing Pink-Skin-Cop-Soother from Ronco!

Felony, Misdemeanor and class.

This is heartwarming news. Now it’s important for the Colorado justice system to make an example of her and throw the book at her (and whatever else they can throw). The woman was aiding and abetting the destruction of democracy in my non-legally trained opinion.

“…she was running for reelection as clerk, then set her sights higher, saying she was campaigning instead to be Colorado’s next secretary of state.”

She should have Mike Lindell anoint her President of Colorado. He can do that. And if someone says he can’t, he and Peters could sue them. Sounds like a plan.

I’d like to think this would be a wake-up call for other slimy/GQP election officials, but they don’t seem too quick on the uptake…

If asked she’d tell you she’d do it all over again. But with more invective and spittle.
