Thursday’s Jan. 6 Committee Hearing Will Be Last Until July

Sweet, if true. My thinking is quite possibly true because a dumb fuck with an enormous ego like tRump would want his victory documented.

Even if they were kicked out for a time, we do have a before and after interview with him, documentary maker already revealed that. Plus any time they didn’t get with him would narrow the window of what we don’t know. And if that window happens to line up with Roger Stone “taking a nap” at the Willard, having kicked out his own documentary makers…

So how many witnesses or people that have otherwise in some form provided their version of events will be called back due to inconsistencies between their stories and what this new evidence shows?

Well, why not? He has never paid more than a fine for previous illegalities (including NJ Casinos laundering likely drug money at the federal level; plus fraud with non-profit and TrumpU).

All of that BigLie fundraising (and the RNC coffers) could likely pay any new fine.

And previous white-collar prosecutors have proved to be mammoth pussies (or accepting bribes, such as AG Vance did in NYC) when they had a solid case.

His experience is that he can get away with everything criminal because he always has. Plenty of minions and elites to help him, too.

Also, the Fascist Five opinion overturning Roe v Wade is gonna drop any day now. That’s going to suck up all the news media attention.

A short pause to incorporate the additional information is prudent. The summer is just getting started.

5 decades of committing crimes. No personal indictments.

What the hell does he have to worry about with this DOJ? Not a damned thing.

They added release dates of Tomorrow and Friday this week. My money is on Friday for Roe, so they’re well out of town when the protests start.

I am sure they can find material to make it last until October.

He may not vote for Trump in the primary, but you can bet he’ll still vote for Trump if he’s the candidate. Because any Republican, even a dangerous moron, is better than any Democrat in the White House.

People like this will hold their nose and vote for Trump as a vote against Biden, or whoever the Dem candidate is. So pay no attention to this kind of half-assed moralizing.

Everyone should hope if some prosecutor does manage to convict Trump of a felony it’s at the State level. Because any Federal convictions are going to be pardoned by the first GOP President that gets elected post-conviction.

As the new Guv in GA, Raffensbuger will pardon him…

What Bowers thinks in private, he has everyone’s right to keep private. In public, I suspect that he’s more than cognizant of the danger to his life and to his family’s lives that taking an open stand against Trump’s machinations entails–to say nothing of his political career. So he’ll continue to assure Arizona Goops that he’ll stick loyally to the party. That might buy him a little protection, although I’m sure he’s still a marked man in the eyes of the most dangerous of the Trumpers, and of the Orange Fuehrer himself.

The same applies to Raffensberger. And to uncounted thousands of elected Republican politicians across the land, from the lowliest locals to the World’s Greatest Deliberative Body.

Republican politicians don’t have an identifiable ideology beyond doing the bidding of their billionaire masters. If everything is performance art it is easy for Republican politicians to be free of any moral or ethical restraints. Anything that makes the oligarchs happy.

The lot of them.

My Arizona brother insists Bowers is one of the biggest dicks in the Arizona rethug party. That covers some serious dickishness.

If he is convicted of something everyone’s hopes of seeing him jailed are delusions. No criminal record. Elderly. He’d get some silly slap on the wrist penalty that inflicts no real hardship. And a felony conviction doesn’t even bar him from running for President again.

I don’t think they let you keep the wire fraud receipts.

Kemp, not Raffensperger.

And GA governor doesn’t have unilateral pardon power. They have a board of pardons and paroles (as does Texas). I think at some point states got fed up with their governors just outright selling pardons and giving them away to friends and allies.

Yep. The GOP has deformed itself into a criminal organization.
