16-year-old climate change activist Greta Thunberg can’t be bothered with discussing global warming with President Trump.
I love that a 16 year old Swedish young woman is smarter than Donald Trump.
It’s only a matter of time before she tweets “OK, Boomer” at him.
She needs to ignore him. That’ll get far more under his skin.
Beyond that, the best revenge is success. Keep on doing what she’s doing. She’s bringing the issue to light to more people than Trump could ever impact. Ignore him and keep doing what she’s doing. Cut him out of the equation.
There is no winner in a battle of wits with someone that is unarmed.
And after the 2020 election- “OK loser boomer”.
Perfect! Love it! Go Greta!
Disagree. It’s possible to do both, and important. Activists have the right–and the strategic necessity–to push back.
Ask Kamala.
She has enough intelligent naysayers out there that she can take on - this guy is a moron on every single level. It’s almost laughable that he thinks he understands the climate issues better than she does, when he is still out there with the trope that windmills aren’t the answer because the wind doesn’t always blow.
It is shocking that a 16-year old girl has more emotional intelligence than a 73-year old man, but these days very little surprises me. She says it all when she is quoted “Those attacks are just funny because they obviously don’t mean anything”. Says it all.
Good for you Greta!! We need more young people like you to speak truth to power.
She is spot on in simply dismissing him. He knows absolutely nothing, and only acts to make matters worse. Nothing good will ever come from Trump. When he croaks he will stiff the undertaker.
Remember that trump is mentally damaged and incapable of learning. But he also richly deserves our derision.
At least “the wind doesn’t always blow” is actually true, although not particularly relevant to the question. It’s when you get into “the noise from windmills causes cancer,” “windmills spew toxic gasses,” and “you can find thousands of dead birds at the base of every windmill” that you’ve arrive in Crazy Land. Thunberg is correct, there really is no point in her engaging Trump.
Snubbing him is one more thing to do to infuriate him. His fragile ego will be fracturing at this.
Do not go gently into that good oval office washroom. The Twittersphere shall burn and rave by the close of the presidential day. Rage, rage against the little girls slight.
Be Best Boomer.
Make America Greta Again!
And she wouldn’t call OK Boomer. It’s just another divisive meme. United we stand.
Correction:
He thinks he understands everything better than everyone else does.
Yikes! Put that on a green baseball cap and you’ve got a major item there!

So let it be written, so let it be done.
Quite aside from her work as a climate activist, she has so far been brilliant at responding to trump tweets. She never tweets back. She just absorbs them into her bio. Pretty damn brilliant.
Not to take anything away from the impressive Ms. Thunberg, but a common garden slug is smarter than Drumpf, as well as leaving less slime in its wake.
