If you ask her, I am sure that she has a plan for that. The first step, I presume, is becoming president. What is Biden’s plan for doing anything? Is he just going to sweet talk conservatives and compromise until they agree to something? Will Warren be able to do everything she wants? Probably not, but we know that it won’t happen if no one tries. I hope that we are not already running on the idea that we cannot do anything (or at least anything more than keeping the lights on).

Warren is wonky, detail-oriented and a high school champion debater. Biden is meandering, imprecise and prone to verbal missteps.

In that mode, they would actually all sit down and brainstorm over who are the best of them to be on the ballot. Then come to an agreement and explain it to the public in lieu of debating one another to death.

No machine can yet match an irasdad sentence, even on slow news day. Yang is right to point out that that our embrace of machines bodes a humorless future. And who wants that? Humans tend to be humbled by their own ridiculousness, or at least they can just go with with it. Lamar Smith wore a dead squirrel on his head for his entire 22 years in congress and he was smiling most of the time.

I hope one of the moderators asks Joe Biden whether he supports reparations for slavery. I would really like to hear his answer to that one, given the strong support he has received from the African-American community thus far.
