Thomas Calls For Court To ‘Reconsider’ Rights To Same-Sex Marriage, Contraception

Much of the 213-page decision overturning abortion rights is concerned with what the justices are really saying.

America calls for Thomas to reconsider living.

Ginni’s calling the shots (pardon the expression), and her full hatred and misanthropy is on display.

The conservative majority, through Justice Samuel Alito, promises that this decision poses no risk to other constitutional rights related to bodily autonomy and private relationships. Justice Brett Kavanaugh echoes that vow again in his concurring opinion.

Monsters DO exist – and every one of them is human.

Ah yes, the right to privacy is there in all those other cases, just not the most consequential one for a pregnant woman.

Can’t boil that frog all at once if you want to end up with boiled frog.

Wondering if Thomas wants to overturn the interracial marriage decision too?

That is what I have been telling my friends, it will be same sex marriages next, then contraceptives. After that, they will look at Title X laws, sexual discrimination laws, and the financial laws that will take us back to the 1970s to when females could not get credit or sign contracts without having a male co-signature. They are going to make it harder for young females to escape from abusive homes and relationships, it will be the late 1950s all over again. Senator Mike Braun made the statement that they want to outlaw interracial marriages, but he had to retract that after he made it. My husband told me they wouldn’t do it especially with Clarence and Ginni Thomas and I told him they will wait until Clarence dies.

I’d be willing to consider a carve-out to make just his marriage illegal.

Clarence Thomas may be the most dangerous idiot on the US Supreme Court today.

And then, since he and Ginni don’t do the sexy thing - at least I don’t think so, as I think no children - there’s no need for contraception.

Uh-oh! An activist judge, conservatives are not going to like it…

It’s no longer his to decide.

First they allow guns to be carried in the open then they do away with Roe and now many other rights.
They know those carrying guns will protect them, by gun violence, even if they don’t agree simply because they can openly threaten folks with their penis enlargers.

I remember (as Thomas was groveling for a confirmation vote in his hearing) when he made a plea for allowing him on the court. He put it in terms of acceptance, inclusion and giving him a chance.

When he attained that seat, he set out to do the opposite, graduating up (down?) the ranks of unpleasantness from repulsive to dangerous.

That’s just it though, like voting rights, they can’t put the toothpaste back into the tube.

They could have waited until after midterms (which is equally dangerous with 2024 coming up), but it had to be now.

Anything related to today’s decision (Obergfell being the exception) is on the table.

Is the court going to go back and reconsider the Emancipation Proclamation?

Why stop at that, Clarence? Why don’t you go ahead and toss out every prior SC decision where the majority had a Justice who would not have not have been allowed on the Court at the dawn of the Republic, such as people of color, women, Italians, Irish, you-name-it. Let’s go whole-hog on Originalism and toss Thomas’ ass on the garbage heap of history. I am personally exhausted with all this Founding Fathers bullshit. Do we need to de-regulate and re-litigate everything that didn’t exist 200+ years ago?
