This Year’s CPAC Attendees Believe, More Than Ever, That Trump Is A Savior

Trump believers think he is their savior

This is a guess and only a guess (predictions are pointless) … but - if they really are effectively embracing Trump as a devine “savior” … it may well be the express lane to their ultimate demise - sequels generally lack the strength of the original … and “saviors” don’t have successors that measure up - egos / quests to assume the power throne create factions & fragmentation - - especially likely since Trump (like Putin) wants to live on the top floor … and effectively have the next tier of power live many many floors below. Trump does not like to have a “right hand man” - he is such a “stable genius” that he is able to be his own right hand man. Anybody that appears to display aspirations gets slapped down by Trump.
So, there is no succession plan - and there is NO ONE in a position take on the role … fragmentation fueled by fierce egos will ensue.

Question: Given that Trump Org. moved those addresses just recently, are they subject to seizure or liquidation to satisfy the judgments against TDFG and Trump Org.? They should not be able to get away with something so overtly corrupt.

I would think so. Common sense demands it. If memory serves, Letitia James has protested the moves.

However, IANAL and I just don’t know.

I sat among the MAGA masses

A nice turn of phrase when talking about religious nut cases.

Well, he still owes them the money regardless. I kinda think this move is like a little kid who hides by throwing a sheet over himself. If he can’t see you, you can’t see him. Pretty sure that the State of New York can still see Trump.

Holding a debt and collecting on the debt are different things when the iDJiT is the debtor.

I think that even if the change of domicile is accepted, all he has done is to add a step to collection process. New York will have to have the seizure order(s) affirmed and domesticated by a Florida court.

But as I already noted, Dammit Ralph, I’m a statistician, not a lawyer.

I see the New York Times got two seats - is that because they are both “fair” and “balanced”?

I have a suspicion that at least some of the most outrageous and deranged shit at events like this is just designed to trigger the libtards. The attendees get off on it.

Maybe I’m wrong and they’re all brain-dead true believers. That’s certainly true of the religious stuff like anti-abortion sentiment. But some of it is so over the top that it does smell like libtard bait.

Nah, you see if selling them doesn’t get New York any money, then there’s clearly no reason to continue with this - Just Drop It And Leave Him Alone!

Persons with dementia can also have some weird-ass bouts of delirium … disjointed … rambling … raging … unhinged …irrational & confused… quasi-incoherent diatribes …
… sound like anybody?

Perhaps the country really has gone mad, or the NYT and it’s pollsters have gone mad, but either way, there’s a reality denying insanity roaming abroad, whether it’s people upset about the price of eggs, obsessing about immigrants or a feeling of helplessness in the face of climate change. For the non-cultists, I’m thinking that, by favoring and voting for Trump, these not-cultists think that Trump can hold back the tide; they can hide from the consequences of a hostile world. Or perhaps, they’re just tired of being governed by a rational government and prefer the frisson of a heightened uncertainty and unexpected consequences. In any case they shall have their reward.

I gotta go walk before I get depressed. Later.

Trump is done. He’s selling bobbleheads and sneakers. Though the DOJ should expect massive obvious fraud in the next election, and a panoply of expensive gambits as befits the rich and their pet media.

I studied Russian culture extensively, and I have great respect for them. I’ve also worked in the rural areas of 17 Midwestern states. Any of the common clay (you know, morons!) in anywhere I know will react to endless propaganda when the media has been deregulated as much as the GOP has contrived.

The intelligence operation Russia is running here is based on the answer to this question: How does a minority maintain power in our democracy?

Please don’t take this the wrong way, but this is a spectacularly awful idea.

I mean really, do you not know U.S. history?

Here’s a free gifted link to the NYT/Siena poll below. In addition to the above, there is the Gaza situation weighing Biden down with young voters. At least that part of Biden’s unpopularity should ease off by next November when Gaza is no longer being bombed daily.

I also think a big part of Biden’s “unpopularity” is just people pissed that they only have a choice of two old guys and wanted something different. It’s a protest vote in the polls. By November, the stark reality will set in, and both Dems and Independents will turn out to vote. They won’t even be thinking about it as voting for Biden; it will be a vote against Trump.

Speaking of false saviors and desecrators -

Michael Flynn, Jack Posobiec, Roger Stone, Jim Caviezel, Tim Ballard and others are headliners for a “Catholic Prayer for Trump” event later this month.

Tickets are only $1,000 each and the Dress code is Black Tie. Jackets and ties required.

Although being held at Mar-a-lago, the site includes the disclaimer:

Catholics for Catholics is responsible for this event. This event is not authorized, approved, or endorsed by nor affiliated with President Donald J. Trump or Donald J. Trump for President 2024, Inc. Paid for by Catholics for Catholics 501c4 and not authorized by any candidate or candidate’s committee.

The group hosting the event is ultra-conservative, supporting people like Bishop Strickland who oppose Pope Francis.
