I really wish I knew what was triggering these suicides. This suggests the trauma was even deeper than most of us have imagined. I am just flat out perplexed.

The PTSD these officers are suffering from must be unbearable. More must be done to provide these heroes with the very best of mental healthcare. There really is a special place in hell for the Republicans who are lying about what happened that day, that refuse to acknowledge their heroism, and continue to just make shit up to appease Trump and their hateful base. These people are straight up evil.

Oh, no. How can Republicans continue to say that nothing out of the ordinary happened on January 6? Multiple policemen don’t commit suicide following ordinary tourist visits to the Capitol. Kevin McCarthy and his ilk deserve to be kicked out of Congress.
