Greenwald is to be pitied/ignored. He lost his mind as a result of (justified) paranoid thanks to the Snowden case.

Golly, Steve. That seems a slight exaggeration of my posts, doncha think?
Mixed emotions on this one.
On one hand, up until a few years ago TP was a site I visited every day - hell, I still have it bookmarked, even though I rarely hop over to check it out. Somewhere along the way it just became annoying and redundant, offering nothing new or original, just the same old âsocial/cultural warfareâ complaints day in and day out. I just lost interest. DK has become much the same for me.
On the other hand, though, I hate that even the worst of the worst rightwing rags will last forever because the billionaire donor class benefits from paying to peddle their propaganda. That sucks.
The story is that they report on white nationalism and so they got tagged for offensive content and blocked from Google searches and ads. Apparently, the Google algorithms werenât clever enough to know the difference between the original offensive content and the reporting on that offensive content.
I have no idea if that story is correct or not. There may have been other factors at play here.
Slight exaggeration? Sure, I would agree with that characterization.
Interesting. And tragic if true.
Makes me wonder how SPLC, ADL, and TPM manage to stay in Google.
So, I print a couple of legit crits, and thatâs the thanks I get?
I bought up sim, because a section of that article briefly addresses Tandenâs âtake the oilâ comments.
Difference is, what she said in email, Trump has said numerous times, butâŚjustified.
Are you suggesting that Greenwald should spend more time criticizing Trump? Maybe heâs trying to uncover stories that are, you know, less covered?
Frankly I hadnât visited the site since Yglesias stopped blogging there. Even then he was really all I would read when I visited.
So both sides are alikeâŚexcept when itâs a conditional (and questionable) access thing, yes?
I really donât know where you came up with this âboth sides are alikeâ angle, so itâs hard to respond to it.
Liberal billionaires are fine funding things like the environment or gay marriage, etc. But seem to draw the line with any outfit that could end up calling for taxes on the wealthiest.
There was this one tale that the Intercept covered and it had plenty of potential.
It involved âRusiaâ though, soooâŚ
I think that was Rachel Maddowâs beat, wasnât it?
They found the author of Iâm Part of the Resistance!

Youâre not a real medical doctor? What was all that stuff about mailing TPM members with offers for special pills?
