I’m not saying he’s guilty

Don’t have to. We already know.

“What a difference a day makes,” Moseley said.
“Because if [the deposition] hadn’t been postponed, he would have testified.”

Now he can talk in an unfettered manner.

Moseley described his client as “pessimistic,” saying that he believed it was because “they’re trying to indict me.”

Aw, poor baby. Who among us hasn’t been a leader of a violent paramilitary organization working on the fringes of the law and directly organized and participated in attempting to violently overthrow the government by killing elected officials, if necessary? No shit you’re getting indicted, asshole. But if you ask nicely, bet you can get some organic food.

Because of course he did
“He wanted to go on Tucker Carlson and tell his story,” Moseley said.

“He wanted to go on Tucker Carlson and tell his story,” Moseley said.

Going on cable news to “tell his story” worked out really well for William ‘Roddy’ Bryan too…

Now the rapt sincerity and the human element of the victim.

Are we supposed to feel sorry for this asshole? Cry me a river…

If you don’t like being treated like this, then don’t try to overthrow the US government. It’s pretty simple, actually. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Awww, lil’ Corporal Insurrection is worried. Enjoy prison Stewie! It’s all the rage with “patriots” like yourself.

The victim’s primary asset is the invincibility of his ignorance. Ditto for all the MAGAts.

Some on the far-right have theorized that Rhodes had not been indicted because he was secretly a “federal operative,”

Amazing how quickly they jump to this when the world turns against them.

Moseley told TPM that the two were discussing Rhodes’ postponed appearance before the Jan. 6 Committee. He had been scheduled to go before the panel on Thursday, but received a postponement until Feb. 2, Moseley said.

I wonder if this was deconfliction between the 1/6 Committee and DoJ or just a run of the mill scheduling issue.

Sometimes the subtext of their real oath is to be stupid.

Actually prison is way better that how I think he should be charged. Just find a copy of the Constitution (on line will do fine) and look up Article 3, Section 3. Read and enjoy. The penalty is way harsher than prison. This man and his group took up arms against the United States. What they were charged with is not exactly the worst it could easily have been
