The man who helped bring down perhaps the largest alleged bribery scheme in Ohio history is a rosy-cheeked motorcycle enthusiast and political consultant.

I don’t understand how one can be a motorcycle ‘enthusiast’. I mean, driving a motorcycle is just…driving. How is one ‘enthusiastic’ about it? Is it because one likes how one looks to others? Which makes it a narcissistic endeavor at best, doesn’t it?

That being said, congrats to Fehrman for bringing this crime to public attention.

“‘Seriously, though — if you’re ****ing with me, we’ll blow up your house,’ Ferhman recalled him saying”

I hope that’s recorded. Because if it is and anything happens to Tyler Fehrman, to his family, or to his house, everyone caught up in this could face additional charges of Conspiracy to commit Murder, Arson, whatever.

And hopefully Justice will be served.
I hope the’re all shitting their pants right now.

Tyler Fehrman, I salute you.

Not nearly as colorful as Traficante, But alas, goes to show you, politics are indeed corrupt, and partinship especially the hyper partisan kind is indeed dangerously misplaced.

”As it turns out, HB6 stunk.”

There hasn’t been this big a stink in Ohio since they opened Jim Jordan’s locker after all those hyrnia trusses, fentanyl doses, and freshmen wrestlers went missing from the team doctor’s office.

I’m not one, but I can understand it. Driving outside, without a roof or doors, would be exhilarating!

Or maybe, I’m just wanting to read Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance again…

Republican voters will look at this, and immediately their gears start grinding trying to find a ‘but but but Demonrats/ Soros/ buttery males’. Even if they aren’t trying to find false equivalencies, they will try to say, aww it’s just a bad apple.

this isn’t about someone in a position of responsibility falling prey to ungodly temptations. This was a fully orchestrated, multi-pronged and slow-grown organized assault on every citizen of OH. Aaaand half that population finds a skinny half-limp R dick up their ass and shrugs it off.

The Eddie Albert character in Roman Holiday was a motorcycle (okay, Vespa) rider. Jay Leno is a motorcycle enthusiast.

So when do these guys get recruited for the Administration?

I can attest that riding a motorcycle is much more than just driving. Tremendously enjoyable, especially on winding country roads. I’ll admit it’s dangerous though – I gave it up decades ago.

That was a pretty chilling threat. Kind of sounds like a specific action plan that they could enact. They know a guy, I guess.

Well? How bad did it stink?

(apologies to the memory of Johnny Carson)

Proving once again that Republicans are why we can’t have nice things.

We haven’t gotten to the end of the investigation and prosecution yet. It could get quite interesting from here.

James Traficant defending Nazis was colorful though /s. :unamused::roll_eyes:

Householder, a Perry County Republican, answered “no” when asked by WSYX-TV’s Lu Ann Stoia whether he is planning to leave office.

No one wants him to resign more than Gov. DeWine. Hope he holds out – Householder would be a nice anvil attached to the foot of GOP prospects all up and down the ticket in Ohio.

Yeah, the physical danger, plus the direct exposure to pollutants makes me think it’s not really a good idea.

A convertible is much the same thing, although I can see that a motorcycle would add a little more to the effect. But I’m in a populous city and relegated to working for a living, so from my standpoint, there isn’t much to be gained, other than smelling everyone else’s exhaust pipe.

It’s dangerous and unhealthy, but maybe I’m not seeing it right.

Borges and Kasich have been real tight for a long time. So much for Kasich speaking at the Dem convention.

Not my area of expertise. I’m wondering if a more experienced thug would be less direct about the specific threat. Any Criminal experts out there?
