I was disappointed to see the Mayor of Mal-d-Lardo and professional victim’s ear bandage. While I am not a doctor* I think the best protocol for ensuring that his yuge head wound heals properly would be wrapping his entire head in gauze, perhaps even a plaster cast, just to be safe.
*However, I haven’t given up my dream to one day play one on TV.

‘This is good news for John McCain!’ I am not sure why, but I am still pretty sure the Dems will win. Donald Trump is still Donald Trump, and he is peaking early. The court trials were never going to stop him anyway. If the Dem candidate (preferably KH…) presses the case and emphasizes abortion and Project 2025, and the voters see more of Mr. Trump (especially as he now feels invincible) I think the tide will turn.

Stop doing interviews, Biden.
Dems need to get tough and united. Coming up with a new candidate (as much as I feel there are ways to change the race dynamics in that vein) isn’t the answer since the new candidate will have no effect on the govt. until next Feb. If a new candidate is what ends up happening, so be it. Biden is still President until the election…if there is one. We have a govt. that is mostly still under Patriotic control.
We need action now. We need the president to be making counters to the fascists and defending the nation now. The govt. dithered for 4 years instead of throwing Chump face down and dragging him off to a dark hole. Dithering more and expecting good things next Feb is not a substitute for what is occurring at this moment.

I was struck by the widow of the man killed at the Trump rally’s language to explain why she wouldn’t accept Biden’s call. Her husband was a devout Trump supporter. Customarily I’d use that to imply a sacral context. I wonder if she meant to acknowledge the cult?
